Dr. Ray preformed spinal fusion on me. He helped me walk without pain shooting throughout my right leg. I'm very satisfied with the serigery. Best decision I ever made choosing him to be my surgeon. Thank you, Dr. Ray & Staff.

Dr. Ray is the rudest person I have ever met...He was lkely given a huge injection of arrogance when he was born. He humiliated me about my weight and cursed in a raised voice about everything. He is a menace to patients and when I called to cancel folowup I was told it happens all of the time. Why does the hospital continue to tolerate this behavior...

I'm like others here. He's been dragging my pain out for 8 months now. Shots don't last, they help, but they aren't long enough. Physical therapy was a joke. If it doesn't work after the first month, then it doesn't need to go on. I'm left unable to drive and will now never be able to drive because of pain that is getting worse. It's unethical to leave a patient like this and not even considering surgery, no matter how major or risky it is. The patient is usually aware of the risks.

Fed up. With my first surgeries he was great, helpful and caring. But when you continue to have problems in other areas that need fixed, he sends you to physical therapy, which is a waste of time & money because it doesn't work. Epidural shots work, but for very short periods of time, getting shorter with each injection. He drags this on and on. Then he dumps you, still in pain unable to do anything. To me, surgery is worth the risk, it doesn't always work. But it's worth a try.

Cervical fusion done by Ray 2 years ago. Haven't been able to move my head at all since surgery or have use of right arm hand. When I explained these things to him, he quickly released me as a patient.

Paralyzed in Jackson, MO – Jan 27, 2017

While traveling in Mo. in the year 2000, I had an accident which caused a bone spur to go into my spinal cord. I was paralyzed from the shoulders down. Dr. Ray saved my life. I was there for three weeks before I was able to fly to Charlotte NC. My level of care in Mo was so much better than Charlotte. I have some limitations but I can walk unassisted indoors. I am thankful for that; however, I feel that if I could have had all my treatment there,I would have been even better. Great staff.
