Dr. Joelle Mengang, MD

She is very cold. She does not take your concerns seriously AT ALL. I 100% agree with every one star review on here. It is crazy how spot on and accurate every one star review here is on her. She is very judgmental and had made multiple wrong and awful assumptions and accusations twords me. I am honestly amazed at how she is still allowed to practice medicine. I am suspicious of any review here with more than one star as I would rate even less here if I could. She is a perfect example of how terrible the American health care system can be.

I was seen by Dr. Mengang in December of 2019. She correctly diagnosed with heart disease and immediately had me taken to the hospital. I spent nine days in the hospital. I have a tremendous respect for her medical abilities. I disagree that she was cold, judgmental or disagreeable. Yes, she was " all business". That's what i look for in a medical professional, not a best bud.

I agree with all of the one-star reviews. Beyond terrible communication and no compassion. Horrible coordination of patient care between her and the referral department. The patient is not provided with vital information in writing when referred for other testing and the referral department is not provided with the full scope of a patient's care so major items fall through the cracks but it all starts with the doctor and management procedures.

Dr. Mengang is very professional and tries to be in tune with my health care. She gives a high quality of care in every aspect.

Dr Mengang was dismissive, did NOT listen, insinuated she did not believe the symptoms of something I was explaining, did not do a thorough examination, prescribed me a medicine that can cause seizures & I have epilepsy---pretty much the worst Dr. visit I have ever experienced & this was my 1st visit at this practice. Her nurse was no better, they were both cold as ice & inept. I would give less than 1 star if that option was available.

I had the exact same experience. I went in with an excruciating migraine and she acted like I was making it up. She would not interact and would cut me off when I tried to talk to her. She never said goodbye. Just left room without saying anything. Bizarre. Won't be returning.

She only discusses what she wants, not what you want. Will not do pain management. She comes across as judgmental. When she is done with you she just leaves the room and does not say anything else to you.
