Friendly, thorough, experienced
I only had one appt with Dr Arledge, before a colonoscopy. I have severe pudendal nerve entrapment. He looked for abnormalities for my PNE during the colonoscopy, but did not find any answers. That’s the first time I have had a gastroenterologist to take interest in my pudendal nerve problem. I was very impressed and felt like that was certainly going the extra mile to try to help with that issue. Unfortunately, is a very complex problem that requires neurology and pain management. It’s also rare, so the fact that he was familiar with it shows his level of expertise and experience. He was friendly and thorough. My appt was on time, as was my colonoscopy. I would highly recommend him. PS. Don’t be alarmed by his youthful looks. He’s been practicing for many years.

Wouldn’t see anyone else!
Dr Arledge is personable, makes you feel at ease from the start. He has been my dr for about 10 yrs. I’m high risk for cancer, he has done several colonoscopies on me. I love Dr Arledge, he is a great dr and I wouldn’t see anyone else!

Routine colonoscopy gone bad.
I never met Dr. Arledge prior to this routine colonoscopy. I woke up in recovery in a lot of pain in my abdomen and my left shoulder. This was not my first colonoscopy so I knew this was not normal. There was no biopsy done. I was told to go home and take gas-X for gas. I tried several times to reach out to the doctor due to my pain level over the next several days and was told by his nurse to go to the ER . I ended up with internal bleeding, a damaged spleen, and aspiration pneumonia in both lungs. I am now paying for 2 ER visits, 2 Cat scans, a chest X-Ray, multiple other tests, prescription drugs, and a visit to a Pulmonologist. It took 7 days of suffering in pain before this Dr ever spoke with me. This was all caused by him pushing to hard on my abdomen during the procedure. I understand that with any procedure there are risks but this was not necessary and the lack of follow up from Dr. Arledge is unacceptable. I will not recommend him to anyone.

Had an appointment with him Feb 25 and ONLY thing I was told was to call if it got worse. NO diagnosis. Have called 2 times and it is now end of May. BI return call. They refuse to return a call as others have said also. Will never go back.
