Dr. John Blevins, MD

Dr. Blevins is an excellent doctor, an expert in his field. He was my doctor for about 5 years in Augusta. He was always very caring, ethical, compassionate, and thorough. He gave me complete exams and never rushed. He always treated me with respect and took my complaints seriously. He helped me to have hope. I have not had this experience or care this good since he moved; and my health has declined. I wish he could still be my doctor now, but his office is located too far away.Some of the staff at the Piedmont office is not so good, though. They have not sent all of my messages to the other doctor there and are occasionally outright unfriendly.

Dr. Blevins is an excellent doctor. He is knowledgeable, thorough, compassionate, and truly cares about his patients. He treated me for both migraine headaches and peripheral neuropathy and did more for my condition than several of the other doctors I saw before being his patient. He is very caring and spends as much time as necessary with his patients. He took as much time with me as necessary to complete a comprehensive exam at each appointment. He never appeared to be rushed. Not once did I experience an unreasonable wait, and once you are with him, he never hurries you to get to his next patient. You always feel free to ask as many questions as you want. He is understanding and easy to work with, and I enjoyed a comfortable yet productive doctor/patient relationship over the twelve years I was his patient. He responds quickly to any questions you send on MyChart. I highly recommend him as a medical provider.

Dr. Blevins is a wonderful doctor. It usually takes time for your first appointment, but after you are a patient, there is no problem. He is vey caring and spends lots of time with his patients. One of the reasons for the weight is that once you are with him, he does not rush you out and you can ask all the questions you want. He responds quickly to any questions you send on My Chart.
