Dr. John Bohannon, MD

This doctor created a hardship for me. I will continue to post my opinion and review so someone else might not be taken advantage of! I feel taken advantage of by Florida Hospital. I went to their emergency room at Florida Hospital Ormond Beach while in town. I went in and saw a Dr. Bohannon who talked to me for 5 minutes and prescribed 5 antibiotic pills. I paid my 125 dollar fee for using the emergency room. Little did I know that 2 months later, I would be charged another $871.00 by this

I went to the emergency room in Ormond Beach, Fl. I was out of town and needed an antibiotic. I met with Dr. Bohannon for 5 minutes. I paid my $125 emergency room fee and thought I was done. Now, I am being billed through a 3rd party billing company Provider Services that Dr. Bohannon contracts- being billed another $871.00!!! For 5 antibiotic pills!!!!! Noone told me that day he was out of network?? Shame on you Dr. Bohannon!! I am a low paid teacher. Going to post this until paid everyday

May 10th I entered the emergency room at Florida Hispital. I came to the emergency room because I had poked my finger with a thorn from a palm tree. I never saw Dr. Bohannon, but his PA entered the room where I was seated. After telling her what had happened I received two antibiotics as a precaution for infection and left with the understanding to return the following day if my condition worsened. The doctor was paid in full, than I was over billed 1,474.27. Beware of this Doctor!
