Disappointing experience over all
Lack of communication. There are many rheumatologists out there. Any doctor can diagnose arthritis. The portal is very hard to understand. Hard to use and hard to understand

First Visit
I was very impressed with how thorough he was. He reassured me several times that he would do all he could to help me feel better. He did spend a lot of time with me asking questions and looking through my history. I am glad I have the right rheumatologist!

Dr. Brendese was chosen for me by another doctor of mine and I came to him with a list of medical issues. A new patient in the area at the time, I was a bit nervous on the first visit but soon found out I could relax. Dr. Brendese has now been my Rheumatologist for two years and I have never had a doctor that worked so hard to find answers we needed to move forward in my treatment. He is so thorough, compassionate and never rushes my visit. He has seen me at my worst and my best and the quality of care never falters. His staff from nurses to office personnel have always shared the same caliber of professionalism as Dr. Brendese does. I'm just sorry I have never taken the time to write before now in case someone is looking for a great doctor and is stressing over who to pick.

Dr. Brendese has been my Rheumatologist going on two years. He is very kind and takes time to fully listen to you and allow you to take part in the diagnosis. He test your conditions in depth. I was Seronegative when came to my Rheumatoid Arthritis. One other doctor that I went to before Dr. Brendese stated that I didn't have RA. Dr. Brendese ran several tests and along with my symptoms, made the call that I have RA and started treatment right away. He is the best!

Dr. Brandese is very nice, caring and knowledgeable. All my experiences have been good and I been a patient of his for 3 years. Always very concerned on how I am doing, he is also very conscientious on the affordability of medication and does everything he can to assist.

Dr is ok, I'm with everyone about the staff here.. they never answer the phone, takes months to send things over to other doctors like important information. Office people really need to step their game unprofessional to not answer the phone.

I was a little concerned about going to see Dr. Brendese when I first read the reviews here, but after seeing him a couple times, I think many of the issues that people wrote about in 2017 have been resolved. The staff is great, and there still is usually a 45-60 minute wait from your appointment time, but it's well worth it. He is very caring, and wants nothing more to help you get out of pain and to have a better quality of life. My fibromyalgia pain is so much better thanks to him!

Dr. B has been my doctor for over 2 years, he is so patient with me and all my medical issues. He never ever rushes me and is very clear and precise when he speaks. He is very much a people person, compassion and very caring. He truly wants to help patients feel better. This is by far one of the best doctor I have ever had. Yes there is a wait in the office but this has no baring on him. The staff may over book appointments, that is something they are working on, Dont blame the Dr. Love Dr. B.

Like other reviews, Dr. Brendese is a good doctor in terms of knowledge and 'bed-side manner'. He does not rush and he listens to questions and concerns. Unfortunately, every visit (6), I have waited no less than 1.5 hours and as much as 3hours to be seen. He is very conservative with treatment. With my condition at my stage of life (a working wife and mother to a tween), I need more willingness to find the best solution to give me the abilify to live life now.

Very excellent experience. Dr. Brendese is the most thorough physician I have ever visited. He has excellent interpersonal skills and is able to convey the message in non-medical and easily understood terms. Great physician.

Dr. Brendese has the potential to be a good doctor. Unfortunately a doctor is only as good as his support staff. His is horrible. They overbook the doctor (I realize this is at the dr's request), I've actually been in an exam room for 2hours before I left. Also, when trying to change to a new medicine it has taken months to do so. I had to actually push the paperwork through and give them insurance phone numbers to fax. They are uneducated and incompetent. Dealing with his office is stressful!

Looking for a new doctor in Monroe, NC – Jan 23, 2017
×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Brendese?
Overall, Dr. Brendese seems like he could be a competent doctor. But due to being overbooked and having a truly horrible staff, my experience with him has been less than desirable. The staff clearly doesn't care about the patients or their needs. They do not keep proper notes, or relay information to the doctor. At one point, Dr. Brendese was unaware that I had been forced to call twice about an allergic reaction to medication before being told to stop taking it and go to urgent care.

I love Dr. Brendese! Such a nice, professional and Brilliant Doctor. I was diagnosed with RA by Dr. Brendese about 3 years ago and have seen him ever since. He is very thorough! He asks the same questions every time I see him. I find this annoying, but I understand why he does this. RA can move to new joints and he is making sure we have the RA under control.

DO NOT USE THIS Dr. Their practice is unorganized, unresponsive, and the most unprofessional Dr I have ever experienced. The Office staff is incompetent and rude, and both Dr's are sketchy. They keep no records, refuse to fefill arthritis medicince after 10 calls, and only care about co-pays. Do not walk away, RUN!
