Edit to previous review of Dr. Bruno
My previous review of Dr. Bruno was inaccurate, and contained negative views on my part, that were due to a communication breakdown during a previous visit. Anyhow, I went again to see Dr Bruno on 05/15/2024, to follow up on a recommendation from an emergency room visit to get checked out by a urologist due to findings on a CT scan that was done in the ER. Dr Bruno took the time to go over the CT scan findings, and that put my mind at ease, hearing that the CT scan was indeed normal. Dr Bruno also addressed other medical issues that I had seen him about previously, to make sure I was still doing OK. The visit was very professional and cordial, and I'll gladly be returning to see Dr Bruno as needed.

THE WORSE DOCTOR EVER, DO NOT USE HIM
I saw Dr. Bruno in January of 2020 was peeing very large blood clots, he ordered a cat scan, which said my bladder was clean of a tumor. Dr. Bruno, I assume never read my records that I have a right hip replacement. The cat scan is not readable, thanks to a bad radiologist, with my metal hip. Next Dr. Bruno did not give me even a second to dumb up the extreme pain was so bad I thought I would need my heart nitro pills, but could not reach my pants were off, Dr. Bruno removed the camera which was not even high-tech, no computer screen, he said my bladder was clean. I kept calling his office, but my bleeding would not stop, just about every week it would happen, FOR 7 LONG MONTHS. I never could get another appointment. His staff also did not send a fax report to my GP, so, therefore, I had no one looking out for me, I asked Dr. Bruno's staff, why did not send the fax, to my GP, their dumb excuse was they had a fax error.

His office staff NEVER returned my phone calls, not even to reschedule my procedure, which was never done as a result. They never called my doctor in Colorado to get my medical records even after I made the arrangements for them. I missed my procedure and they never reached out to find out why. They don't care about their patients AT ALL! Avoid this practice if you can...

I met Dr. Bruno 3 times. He was pleasant, professional and took his time explaining my issue. He spoke to me on the phone and it was if we were speaking in person . He took his time and with the phone conversation as if we were in his office.

Just had surgery with Dr Bruno. He was professional, extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and attentive. Surgery was a success. Couldn't be more pleased. So glad I changed Urologists after speaking with my primary doctor who highly recommended Dr. Bruno. Couldn't be happier.

Dr Bruno is a true professional. He fully explains the options both pros and cons, likely and less likely outcomes. As a surgeon, he is extremely skilled. I had a radical prostrate removal and was ready and back to work within 24 hours. There was zero pain or discomfort due to his superior skills using the Davinci robot. I had zero side effects and it went perfectly. I had heard a lot of horrible experiences from others about this procedure. I had NONE of these experiences from Dr. Bruno. I see he has been criticized by some for his direct manner. He is nice and professional. That’s good enough for me. I’ll take a superior skilled surgeon over a charmer any day. When I’m under anesthesia, I want performance. You will get top notch performance in spades. A ten.

It is a great pleasure to recommend Dr. Bruno as a urology specialist. He is a no-nonsense, straight shooter who is sensitive to his patients' needs while being efficient and practical. I appreciate his explanations and willingness to describe conditions in terms that are understandable and clear. He is gentle and honest. I could not be in better hands.

Had surgical removal of one kidney which proved to be non-cancerous. The doctor seemed to be offended by my questions following the surgery. he did not complete the examination in his office following our discussion. He "stormed" out of the room, "slammed "the door and the nurse came in to say he was done and I should come back in 6 months. His group is the only urology group in the area, so I have to travel outside of my area in order to find another specialist.

I went to Dr. Bruno after a CT scan showed I had a bladder polyp. He performed a cystoscope in his office (had no pain) and surgically removed the bladder polyp at the Duracell Surgical Center. He answered all my questions, explained the procedure and even drew a picture of what he was going to do. I had no post-op issues at all. I highly recommend Dr. Bruno.

I had a prostatectomy done by Dr. Bruno. It was done robotically and I was in one day and out the next. Before surgery he explained everything to me, drew pictures to explain what he was going to do. He always took time to answer all my questions and his follow up has been excellent. I could not speak more highly of Dr. bruno as a surgeon.

Was referred by my primary for prostate exam. He did the prostate exam (same as my primary), stated I didn't have cancer (how would he truly?), and said I had two options. Take medication; or change my diet. I said I would change my diet. I was charged $238 for 18 minutes; plus another $126 for "lab tests". I already paid for that to my primary! Called back the next day and said I changed my mind. Now he wanted an ultra sound and was going to charge another $238 for another visit, too. Arrogant.

Acts like he doesn't care at all about his patients, or at least if you don't have cancer. Didn't volunteer any information about scheduling surgery or who to contact. Didn't listen to my description of what was wrong so I had to show him twice. After I said I'd take medication he just chucked his gloves in a bin, walked out, and pointed towards the door. Never again.
