Poor Treatment
He was so rude to me when I was so ill with Covid and would not give me the proper treatments required. He would not give me the 5 day anti viral medication needed. He told me “You're Not Getting IT!!! He was trying to send me home the first day when I was so ill and also had C-Diff. I have never been treated so rudely in a hospital. He also lied that he saw me daily in the chart when he only saw me two of the days.

Very disappointed.
I brought my mom to Texas Health and Dr. John Bump was the internist. He obviously could not remember his 20 min visit with us and put notes in the chart that were completely incorrect. He told us he didn't want to test for cancer bc they would have to poke and do biopsies if they found anything. That's not true. If they find cancer, we could decide our next step. He added statements in the chart that were incorrect and said he was in our room 50 min and there's no way. I love Harris Southwest hospital and have had a great experience with all the staff except Dr. Bump. I would never recommend him.

Keeps appointments. Very patient, considerate, and knowledgeable. Not hesitant to refer to another better qualified physician if condition demands. Will not hesitate to recommend him to anyone needing a compassionate, caring physician.
