Surgery’s follow ups
Dr Corley performed my hemorrhoid ectomy. At consultation, he told me & my husband that this is one of the worst surgeries a person could have as far as pain & recovery, he was right. He said he’d take care of my medical needs, but I ran into a lot more pain than I thought was normal. I called & talked to his nurse several times she kept telling me what she thinks he would say, and that he will not be writing any more pain medicine. I had to go in to the ER and had to have an emergency clean out due to impaction “not” from the pain meds but from swelling. Then I had even more pain after that & come to find out I had fissures. Which I had never had before until after my hemorrhoidectomy and impaction surger, & as I laid on the gurney with IV in my arm, he come in and said I will not be writing you any more prescriptions. He told me at the appointment he would be. And NO, I had nothing in my body except what he gave me. I don’t recover like most so Dr’s need to treat people not symptoms.

He performed my colon resection due to a cancerous tumor. Came in late one evening to share excellent news that all lymph nodes were clear rather than waiting for the next morning's normal rounds. Great bedside manner and skilled surgeon. Office staff is very kind and caring.

Took the extra time to explain things no matter how much he had to dumb it down for me to understand. Extremely empathetic, does a great job of relating to his patients. But what I love the most is that I truly felt like he was worried about me, having a particularly challenging case. He made calls, asked opinions of other doctors, and always gave 100% when it came to treating me. Always made sure I was comfortable, it was a pleasure to have him as a surgeon.
