Dr. John Damergis, MD

I feel Dr Damergis is a very good doctor and that he spends just enough time with me to review what has happened since the last visit and how I am currently doing and the reason for the current visit and what my needs might be for the future

Tall, dark and handsome. I was impressed with his wide range of knowledge and caring attitude. I wish he made house calls, I could use a hand in sleep hygiene optimization. Too bad he's married.

Dr Damergis is truly a rare gem. He is among the top few doctors I have ever seen, among hundreds. Been seeing him for over 6 years and he is consistently wonderful to work with. Listens well, is kind, takes into account my ideas, is extremely knowledgeable, and truly cares about helping people. Highly recommend waiting as long as you need to in order to see him.

Without a shadow of a doubt! I have often told friends and family that I have the BEST neurologist/sleep doctor in the world. He cares. Not only does he know his field of expertise, he takes the time to know his patients. There is no way I would ever change physicians. Dr Damergis has made a major difference in my life! And I can say that confidently after ten years under his care!

Dr. Damergis has always been great to work with. I have a head injury that has also affected my sleeping as well as having Migraine headaches daily. I had a sleep study done at Noran Neurologic and found out my brain doesn't get Rem sleep. Dr. Damergis has been so easy to work with rather than just prescribing medications to make me sleep he has worked with me to change my sleep habits and how I prepare for getting the best night sleep I can get. It's nice that a doctor is looking for more options for the patient than just medications. He has been very helpful and listens to your ideas before making up his mind on how he is going to treat you. It's nice to have a doctor that let's you be part of the decision making on how you are going to proceed with your treatment.

Nothing short of stellar care he continues to provide for me. Dr. Damergis is very thorough, prompt and compassionate. Thank you Dr. Damergis!

Condescending poor bed side manner. First words out of his mouth were dismissive of an established diagnosed condition from prior doctor. He made me feel like a child and that I did not know my own body.
