Best Surgeon Ever!
I am a very active person that experienced a pilon fx from a snowboarding accident. I was told this is one of the worst breaks a person could have and that I would probably walk with a limp for the rest of my life. Needless to say I was very depressed. I met with a few surgeons before deciding to go with Dr Dawson. The other two surgeons I interviewed were negative. However, when I met Dr Dawson, it was one the best experiences I ever had with a doctor. Dr Dawson sat down explained everything and what to expect with my type of injury. He was extremely positive and said that he felt I could return to my normal activities after my full recovery. Dr Dawson gave me the confidence to stay positive. During my entire recovery Dr Dawson was very responsive to all my concerns. Fast forward a year and half later I was finally on my honeymoon in Europe doing hikes that I never thought would be possible again with my type of injury. Thank you Dr Dawson!

Out of the 20 or so Doctors/Surgeons/Specialists I dealt with regarding a traumatic injury I received to my right leg, resulting in a transfemoral amputation of same, Dr. Dawson was the most honest, competent and skillful Dr in the bunch. I was assured I would walk again on that same leg, either reconstructed or provided with an artificial knee replacement, yet that was never to be, due to disruption of blood flow to the shattered bone remaining in my femur and ankle bones. Dr. Dawson honestly/truthfully told me what my potential outcomes may be & chances of success were using bone grafts from my hip, how long the potential recovery would take, and the likelihood of of success, considering the existing damage, would be, & gave me brutally honest opinions, allowing me to make a choice regarding my surgical options. I can't express how grateful I was to know the honest truth of my condition, and make an adult decision about how to proceed. My experience w/ him goes beyond mere words...

Dr. Dawson has provided excellent care since I broke 4 bones in my mid-foot and dislocated 3 more bones in April. He has gone beyond the call of duty by answering and replying to my emails when a concern arose. Thank you, Dr. Dawson for everything !!!

I was very fortunate to have been referred to Dr Dawson after a traumatic elbow injury. He saw me quickly and got me into surgery at the earliest medically appropriate time. He was a kind, genuinely nice guy when he csred for me. My personal orthopedic surgeon validates the skillful repair he did on my elbow.
