Worst practitioner I’ve ever seen
This doctor was argumentative, condescending, unkind. Zero concern for the patient, had clear biases, and passed judgment and critique the entire appointment. I left feeling like I had just been reprimanded from an employer. Horrible bed side manner, do not go to this physician. Interrupted me several times while explaining medical history. Was clearing defensive for some reason unbeknownst to me. TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE, do not see this doctor!

Stay away
New to the area, went to vista to establish care. Asked to get my existing prescription transferred and he started treating me like an addict/drug seeker/criminal. Insisted on random drug screens, claiming (falsely) that it was a legal requirement. Straight up lied. Also baselessly claimed it had interactions with other drugs and posed dangers to my health way beyond what there is evidence for. He clearly has beliefs and an agenda that conflicts with his duties as a healthcare provider.

No empathy,lacks knowledge and care
I have left reviews for the other two doctors who I saw over a period of a year. Not one of them had any knowledge and lacked empathy. He had to be the worse. I am 56 year old female. I went in to him complaining of pain,joint pain,chronic fatigue and could not work. I told him this has been progressing and getting worse and I also gained 30 pounds over the year. His response to me was I am getting old, I am obese,and I need to exercise. he did draw blood. My blood came work good. He was rude and I left his office feeling hopeless and scared. I know my body and I knew something was wrong. I ended up in Tennessee and went to a walk in clinic because of the pain. The nurse practitioner asked me if I was ever tested for Lyme disease. I never was.She did the test. It came back positive. I am now being treated by Dr. Todd who is the best infectious disease doctor in Jamestown TN. I have a long journey due to the fact it went untreated for so long. Stay away from him and Vista Clinic.

I went to Dr. Ellison asking for help and I felt insulted by the time I was done. He had no empathy and basically said it was my fault.
