Great Doctor !
Dr. Fitzgerald is one of nicest Doctors that you will ever find. He explains everything to you without making you feel like you are bothering him. He is very patient, kind, and easy to talk too. I would high recommend Dr. Fitzgerald to anyone.

Could probably do worse
Just don't believe anything Dr. Fitzgerald says about post surgery life. For that matter, don't believe any Urologist about post surgery life. Do your own research.

Dr Fitzgerald is wonderful. He is patient, kind, you can ask questions without being rushed out of the office. I wish all physicians were like him. I have recommended him to many people and they all feel the same.

Very disappointed with Dr. Fitzgerald. My husband has been suffering with kidney stones for two months. He did not get to see the doctor, even though he was referred by his primary, but was treated by his NP, whose advice, after MRI and Ultrasound was to go to the ER if the pain got worse!!! He is now being seen by a new urologist who ordered different tests, saw him twice and will be administering an ultrasound like blasting of the stone to break it up. He also prescribed meds for pain. Finally, after two months of no help, my husband was heard and treated!

Dr. Fitzgerald is a warm and caring doctor. He is easy to talk to during office visits and is a top surgeon in his field. I would highly recommend this urologic oncologist.

Great surgeon and person! Had radical inguinal orchiectomy in Nov 2018 for suspected testicular cancer- turned out to be mixed germ cell tumor and so far cought early enough not to have spread. No complications thanks to dr Fitzgerald. Thanks to stony brook team!

Dr. Fitzgerald is professional , caring and takes the time to address any concerns . Nurse Practitioner,Deborah Filiciano , is extremely helpful and knowledgeable, and goes above and beyond to explain and comfort . We are very satisfied with the health care provided by both Dr.Fitzgerald and his staff.
