My wife and I were both scheduled for an appointment with Dr. Franzone today 10/24. It was our first visit. Before we made the appointment we read some of the reviews online, some were good some not so good. We read a review about how nasty the women at the front desk could be, but we were not prepared for what happened. While we were there a Spanish woman and her young son came in apparently a title late for their appointment. The woman said she had called to say they were running a little late. The receptionist told her that she was too late and would have to make another appointment. The woman just left without an appointment. After she left the two women at the desk started ranting about how the Spanish women was probably just a welfare recipient anyway and then said she should go back to her own country. They were not trying to conceal their voices. My wife and I were so upset by their ranting that we just got up an canceled our appointments and left. This behavior is wrong.

Went to doctor Franzone for a biopsy of a mole on my forearm. I received a voice mail at home from Fran. I called the next day. I asked fir the results. She stated she didn’t have time to tell me she was there by herself and might get called into the doctor at any moment. When I pressed her for the result she finally found it. A malignant melanoma in situ. I didn’t understand what that was. All I heard was malignant. I asked for an explanation. She spelled it for me and said I could look it up. I become angry at that and she told me I wasn’t being very nice. I admit I was angry. She just told me I had cancer and told me to look it up myself. No wonder I wasn’t nice Absolutely outrageous. This may be a commonplace diagnosis for her but she has completely lost her empathy for her patient. I have found a new doctor who took the time and patience to explain my condition. Dr franzone never even spoke to me himself.

Run, don't walk away from this doctor. Especially if he is checking you for skin cancer. My husband went to see him every 6 months religiously for body checks, and is now dead from melanoma.
