He fled to Florida, I bet!
This man should have left the state a lot sooner than he did. He performed an aorta iliac bifemoral bypass on me. The left side of my graft occluded before I was discharged from the hospital... and 2 years later, both sides are occluded. Guess I didn't need my legs ??

I had 2 stents put in in my groin area due to blockage. Apparently I started bleeding out on my hip replacement side during the procedure. They began pushing on me to stop the bleeding. This went on for 3 hours full force. It's been 4 & 1/2 months now & Ive had severe pain ever since. He basically blew me off every time I called so I be since made several trips to my family MD. A recent X-ray shows that my pelvis is broken right where they were pushing on me. Now I have to have surgery again. Run from this man!

Dr. Hamelink was wonderful. The appointment was easy to schedule. He completely went through my chart with my wife and me, answered all our concerns and questions. He order more test which verified surgery was not needed at that time. His office contacted me with a six month follow-up. They were very professional, warm and friendly. I would strongly recommend this Doctor to anyone.

A few years ago I lived in IN & was concerned about spider veins after I suffered a DVT and multiple PE. THE VERY FIRST THING he said to me was, "Well, you know that's expensive and not covered by insurance. And there are no guarantees the procedure will reduce the appearance of the veins." Excuse me, idiot? Of course it would reduce the appearance of the small spider veins I had. He also recited a list of all the veins in the body just to prove I didn't know them all. ??? Rude incompetent hick

It would be more appropriate to have 0 stars. Waited a month to see him. He didn't take the time to go through my chart during that time, simply made a 5 minute phone call to the doctor I was trying to get away from!! He had his opinion formed by that phone call and listened to nothing I had to say, absolutely nothing.

Cold fish. Didn't come across the exam room to even look at my varicosity up close. Didn't inspire confidence. If I proceed with treatment, already wondering how to have another surgeon do it.

Horrible bedside manner, very rude, doesn't listen, does not have patience with the elderly, didn't use gloves during exam, would love to know his infection rate on surgery. Ended up going to Indianapolis with severe infection and almost died....
