Dr. Hanson was highly unprofessional and had a serious lack of compassion. When numerous other doctors said there was nothing more to do other than supportive care, he pushed more chemo, which completely incapacitated my husband. When I questioned what his end game was, if there was any hope, he strode into my husband’s hospital room, (which he had been bedridden to for the prior 4 months, only deteriorating more every day) and told him he needed to decide if he still wanted chemo, and that “his wife wanted him dead” I will forever remember that day as the second worst day of my life.
