I have seen Dr. Hollingsworth for removal of kidney stones on several occasions. My last stone happened right before Christmas of 2018. I was about to leave on a trip to Hawaii that was in the work for 9 months when the pain began. Dr. Hollingsworth staff was overwhelmingly helpful and worked with me on Christmas Eve! Dr. Hollingsworth and his staff were there for me. He spend time with me explaining the procedure and his staff is very thorough. I highly recommend Dr. Hollingsworth for his professionalism and kindness.

I was referred to Dr Hollingsworth III over a year ago to remove two very large kidney stones. The surgery was successful and now I choose to travel to work with him on prevention of future occurrences through metabolic testing and education. He is about finding a solution for every patient. He treats me as an individual and uses his experience to find treatments that work for me. I travel 5 hours to see him because I trust him.

Dr. Hollingsworth was able and willing to make needed adjustments very quickly so that I was comfortable during and after the procedure. After having no response to codeine products during a previous procedure many years ago, I learned the reason after taking a pharmacogenomic test: my system is a poor metabolizer of the CYP2D6 enzyme, which is need to convert codeine to morphine for pain relief. Without this conversion, there is no pain relief but the potential for all of the side effects. When I brought this to his attention before the procedure, he made adjustments in drug therapy so that I was virtually pain-free during the procedure and afterwards while the stent remained in place. What a relief!

Dr. Hollingsworth, was very professional and pleasant. Although, I was a little fearful of what to expect, he made me feel comfortable throughout the entire process. I gave him a nick name "Tom Brady " in his profession. I had a staghorn kidney stone that was fairly large. After the surgery, I experience some discomfort for approx. two weeks but each day it got better. My end results were favorable! I will encourage you to keep a positive attitude throughout the process and you be just fine. I highly recommend Dr. Hollingsworth to everyone who is looking for the best in his field!!! Although, he's the best I pray, I never have to see him again : ) drink plenty of WATER!!! Alrena

I have been impressed with the care I have received. Clinical expertise is expected. Dr. Hollingsworth provides much more. He takes time to insure the all medical information is explained, discusses options, and answers questions while being professional and approachable. I was most impressed by the “stone clinic” he conducts with Dr. Patel (nephrologist). The two combine specialties along with a nutritionist to review each patient’s lab work. All tests are explained. I was referred to Dr. Hollingsworth for treatment of recurring kidney stones. Dr. Hollingsworth was thorough in obtaining my medical history & explaining the possible causes of kidney stones, treatment options, and potential outcomes of said treatments. He performed a lithotripsy with stent procedure and followed up with additional testing to determine the cause of the stones and develop a preventative plan. He is professional and personable and I would recommend him without any reservations.

Dr. Hollingsworth has changed my life. I have dealt with chronic kidney stones since I was 19. Until I started seeing Dr. Hollingsworth, every other doctor treated me and sent me on my way. Dr. Hollingsworth found the root cause of my issue and helped in the process of curing the problem. He has always been proactively engaged in helping me. He has never pushed unnecessary procedures and I have never felt rushed. I couldn't ask for a better doctor. Thank you so much for everything you have done!

Amazing Doctor. Dr. Hollingsworth went over all the options with me when dealing with two 12mm stones in my left kidney. He very clearly went over the operation, what was to be expected and how my stay in the hospital would go. All his staff was friendly and attentive to me and wife's questions pre-surgery and post-surgery. I am stone free now due to his knowledge. I am very happy and would highly recommend Dr. Hollingsworth.

Terrible urologist. Misdiagnosed me, spent no time on my case, ignored important health indicators and put me through a completely unnecessary, painful, expensive, and damaging surgery. If you're looking for a rubber stamp instead of a real physician, Hollingsworth is your guy.
