Dr Howe and Staff are very knowledgeable and helpful. Dr Howe is very compassionate and explains about what is happening with your eyes. Both of us are patients and have been for over 15 years. We are very happy with the care he has given and is giving to each of us. We highly recommend him and his staff.

After after he did cataract surgery I have flashes of light in my right eye that affect my driving. Several times we were asked if we wanted extra procedures done that medicare doesn't cover and were quite expensive. I wouldn't have known medicare didn't cover them if I hadn't asked. He talked in such a low voice my husband couldn't hear him. Harlingen

Dr Howe explained everything I know about my cataract surgery. He did my right eye first used local. My eye was rocking and rolling when it should have been still. Despite this he was able to do an amazing job. When I opened my eye I could see 20/20. A month later he did the left eye used general. When I woke up I could see 20/20. Colors are so beautiful and this all do to the exception job DR HOWE did. I have not see this well since the 90’s. THANK YOU DR HOWE for giving me my eye sight .

Dr Howe is an exceptional dr. He has been treating me for over ten years. He’s done several laser surgeries and cataract surgeries. I wouldn’t trust anyone else. His staff is so friendly and helpful. They greet you always with a smile. So glad I found them when I needed to. I would recommend them to anyone.

Terrible experience! Wasted so much money and time here for him to later say he would NOT help me. I would recommend you look elsewhere if you don't like wasting money or having someone be exteremely rude to you!

After numerous check-ups and ointments for a lid bump, says he will perform surgery (Thursday) and day of (Tuesday) says he won't touch it. Says he was never treating the bump but another infection and doesn't see the bump we had discussed every single time I was checked-up. After about $400 (that's with insurance), all I got was attitude from the doctor and STILL have a bump on my eye! Waste of time and money. Was later told a man lost his vision in one eye on his account!
