Dr Huff , I was sadden to hear that you retired four years ago. I recently changed health insurance and I was looking forward to seeing you again. I was just informed of your retirement. You're such a a marvelous and amazing Doctor and person. When I was your patient, you took such good care of me. I was wanting the same care. Enjoy your retirement. Try not to work harder than working at the clinic. Love, Laugh and Live. Your Former Patient Veronica Sue Flores

Inhumane Treatment
I want an in terrible pain and was given an injection to help alleviate some of my inflammation & pain. This was at the peak of my lupus years. I was exhausted as I had not slept in quite a while. While I was waiting for my ride in the lobby I fell asleep. Next thing I know one of Dr Huff's staff was tapping me on the shoulder. They informed me that I was disrupting the other patients in the lobby and making them feel ill at ease because I was snoring. They asked me to leave the lobby and wait outside. I was so confused and felt so ashamed. I told them that I was a patient and was simply waiting for my ride to arrive. They said that they were aware but, I was making the other patients uncomfortable. I turned to see four other patients two of them a couple. All of them white. I was the only POC in the lobby. This staff person literally stood over me as I stumbled to my feet and walked out. The woman that reported me sat there very smug as if I had committed some sort of crime.

Folks, I will stake my life on these statements as being TRUE! I have seen my adopted dad (Dr. Huff) for quite a number of years , I have serious physical problems along with severe Arthritis of every kind. Dr. Huff took on a monumental task with me..BUT , he definitely got my pain pretty much under control, which was literally an miracle in itself. I ASSUREDLY CANNOT SAY ENOUGH ABOUT THIS MANS QUALITIES AND QUALIFICATIONS. It broke my heart to HAVE to leave him , and yes , I did cry for days.

Dr. Huff is great his staff could use some diversity training and customer service training. Informing the patient while they are signing in that the doctor is running behind would be nice to know instead of putting a sign up after I ask when I'm going to be seen cause people after me waited less than a second and was call back immediately after the lady told her it would be a while before she will be seen . I called an left the office manager a nessage and she has not return my phone call yet.

Dr. Huff has saved my life three times. Just last week he sent me to the ER for he couldn't explain the edema. Well, I had a silent heart attack and later while in the hospital I test positive for unknown bacterium in my blood stream. He extremely knowledgeable with SLE (Lupus) he is compassionate and willing to take the time to explain what is occurring with my disease. He also has a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical which is huge when dealing with a ugly such as SLE. His staff is equally awesome.
