High Hopes
My daughter was a Tulane student last year when she saw Dr Huntwork. Upon the first visit he might be able to help her manage her auto immune (diagnosed as Lupus but he thought possibly otherwise). He was very interested and caring. He encouraged her to come back when she had a flare up. When she did that months later, his staff told her, very rudely I might add, that she waited too long and was no longer a patient there. How is someone no longer a patient with any doctor, especially a young college student away from home? Very unethical behavior.

No Thanks
I saw Dr. Huntwork twice. He then sent me a letter to my home telling me that the tests ordered required PAs and that there was just no reason for him to do one because he had put everything on the referral for these tests that was necessary of my information and there’s not possibly anything more he could put and that there was no longer any reason for him to see me. He literally dropped me as a patient through the mail. Come to find out when I got the letter in the mail from the insurance company the only reason these tests were refused was because Dr. Huntwork did not put on the referral that I had been getting physical therapy for six weeks or more which I had. He ended the letter of his actions of dropping me as a patient with. “ you should just continue to see a physical therapist and pain management.” Psoriatic arthritis is a very real, very invasive, and very painful disease. I now have no help or treatment in this department. I’m looking for another rheumatologist.

Never will my voice express recommendations of Dr. Huntwork to ANYONE. He knows what he has done for certain people/humans who sought help from his practice and he will feel it more and more as the time comes closer for him. May God have mercy on his soul and Bless his staff.

UNCARING, SELFISH, and RUDE. A crisis occurred and instead of being a TRUE doctor and being concerned about his patient, he got his nurse to do all the talking. This nurse was also very condecending and rude. The doctor refused to speak to me saying he had no time to deal with my issues and concerns. He also said he was going to drop his patient bc of a one time crisis mistake that was made. I would NEVER recommend him and he should have his license revoked. He is not fit to be a doctor.

Dr. Huntwork and his staff are gracious, gives full attention to their patient. Doctor Huntwork takes his time with his patient and he discovers the types of rheumatology each patient and gives his expertise for each ailment. I am so impressed with him and proud to say I try to refer him as much as possible.

Dr. Huntwork seems very caring. His staff on the other hand are rude. Receptionist, Nurse, and office manager all do not believe in customer service. I believe your patients and families are your customers. When a crisis occurred the staff was not willing to assist in getting me in for an appointment. Saddened me to have to look elsewhere , drive farther to get good care.
