Absolutely very personable Great experience His staff is the best You will be treated like a person not a number

I had inguinal hernia repair by Dr Johnson thinking it would fix my chronic testical pain. I went back to see Dr Johnson after my surgery due to more pain then before the surgery. As someone prior has already stated, I was told that it happens and that I needed to seek out a pain specialist. Now after thousands of dollars in debt for pain and nerve blocks I finally get a Dr to do a simple ultrasound of my testicles and guess what???? I have a inguinal hernia still on the side that was supposedly repaired. Something I always knew but Dr Johnson only checked by turn and cough method which I knew he would say that the surgery mesh was doing its job and the nerve could just be irratated. If he would of done ulra sound it would have showed his repair didn't work. Now I'm stuck with another surgery to fix his mistake and more medical bills. Evidently pain specialist see alot of his hernia patients. Super nice person but definitely quick to defer you to another doctor. Research your hernia D

Joke of a doctor...

Dr Johnson is a remarkably friendly and competent surgeon. I have known him since his residency at MUSC and he has conducted three surgeries on me, all with excellent results and rapid healing. He has always been prompt and efficient with his time, his staff is friendly, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him.

I give Dr. Johnson a huge recommendation for anyone in search of an awesome surgeon. I visited the Emergency Room on a Tuesday morning after an MRI I was informed I would be needing emergency surgery. Dr.Johnson was on call and what a wonderful bedside manner he has. He explained all about the procudure, in terms I could understand. I spoke 2 more times before - I felt more relaxed once I went into surgery. He visit 3 times with me before being dischard. Thank you, Dr Johnson you're awesome!

Dr. Johnson and his staff at Carolinas Center for Surgery are the best!!! He is so compassionate and he took his time explaining all the details about my surgery to me and my family.
