Dr. John Joseph, MD

This practice doesn’t desire to actually care for patients and is just looking to make money.

Dr. Joseph was my doctor for over 10 years and cut me loose for being late on an office co-pay of $15. I was out of medication and needed a full refill and he refused to authorize. I can't get into see my new doctor for a few months so I will be without my medication for many months. Stay away from this guy. Very passive aggressive and violates the hippocratic oath. They don't take credit card and use technology from the 70's & 80's. STAY AWAY. Also he is associated with Beaumont. Stay away from anything Beaumont. They are too large a don't care about patients or their care. It's just a cattle call for them.

Dr Joseph is a "1 in a million" find if you're looking for an excellent family doctor. He is kind, very knowledgeable, a good listener, calls you at home to explain a test result, and very importantly, keeps on schedule. Instead of an office building with many doctors running around, Dr Joseph has his own small office building, with his own four person staff, and when you're there, the office staff makes you feel like you're the most important person the doctor is going to see that day. I would definitely give Dr Joseph 5 stars.

We have been Dr. Joseph's patients for more nearly 20 years & recommended him to over 10 others, including another doctor who sees Dr. Joseph for his primary care. Dr. J's attention to my husband's symptoms likely ultimately saved his life. A similar situation occurred with a friend whose oncologist overlooked an issue that Dr. J caught. It is noteworthy that, despite now living in the South and having local physicians, we continue to see Dr. Joseph for the most thorough annual physicals.

Dr Joseph added unnecessary tests / labs on a Preventive Physical which ended up costing money out of pocket where as the Physical should have been covered at 100%. The receptionist / nurses are rude and are not helpful. They do not accept credit cards! It's 2016! Are you kidding me?
