Continued care since January 2022. Dr Kalin just left a voice message with the results of my echocardiogram...from this morning.I've received excellent care under Dr Kalin.Hospitalized and diagnosed with CHF in 2022, my cardiac meds were slowly titrated up to optimal dose. I've regained much of my strength and vitality. Office is responsive (thanks for the call today, Dr Kalin) with follow-ups and appointments. NP Nanette Hallet is quick to respond on my Rx refills. Works with another cardiologist, Dr Michael Kiernan at Tufts - Boston for consults and care, as well. Two cardiologists working together. This is a good practice!

Dr Kalin was my cardiologist for the past several years and found him to be very thorough and always discussed any concerns I may have had. Appointments were pretty much on time. Having moved off Cape a few months ago, I will be meeting my new Cardiologist next month. Hopefully he measures up to Dr Kalin.

Dr. John Kalin is very thorough and always asks the right questions. Peter and I are very confident in his abilities to care for both of us. His attitude is positive and his knowledge is extensive. We feel very fortunate to be included in his practice. Also, his staff treats us with respect and they are happy there. I always ask them how they are treated at work. It tells us that the practice is run extremely well and that reflects on Dr. Kalin as well as his management personnel.

I met Dr. Kalin in 2014 to discuss surgery for implantation of a pacemaker for my AV block. My husband and I liked him right away and felt I was in good hands. He's followed me since then with appropriate testing, always in a caring way. His staff has been courteous. Year after year I'm glad to see Nan who also monitors my pacemaker performance. I can't imagine what my quality of life would have been without their care. I feel secure to know Dr. Kalin will be around to replace my pacemaker battery in a few years.

Dr. Kalin is the type of doctor everyone should have. He is great at explaining things, always friendly, very knowledgeable and very clear! I have had other cardiologists in the past and none compare to Dr. Kalin in terms of his 'bedside manner' and willingness to relate. If you are looking for a cardiologist on Cape, he is the one! Thanks Dr. Kalin for your empathy and clarity!

He couldn’t figure out why I passed out while driving. Put a loop monitor in me and found out I needed a pacemaker. He probably saved my life.

For Two days prior to my appointment, I called to reconfirm my appointment and no one returned my call.. When I arrived today, I was told “they are short of help”. Trying to train new front desk help. Found Dr Kalin dismissive and cocky.

Kalin is an insult to the medical profession. He is a mean person and behaves in an aggressive and non-caring manner toward patients, particularly those who are seniors. He doesn't listen and instead provides a cookie cutter approach to treatments. He is a ghastly man and totally underserving of the title 'physician.' If you have an elderly parent that has to unfortunately seek care from him due to a dearth of healthcare specialists on the Cape, be sure to attend the appointment with your loved ones so that Kalin isn't able to be abusively disrespectful toward them.

Dr. Kalin was downright rude and uncaring towards me. I will never return to him nor would I ever recommend him. He is not a nice man.

Unfortunately, I don’t have a lot of great things to say about Dr. Kalin. He treated me with disrespect and lack of concern. He appears not to want to go the extra yard for quality communication. Sorry, but I would think twice before choosing him for your cardiologist.

Dr. Kalin and his office are always available to answer questions.

I think Dr. Kalin is the most wonderful doctor and I trust him so much and value his knowledge that even after I moved out of state I still drive twice a year just to keep my appointments with him. Thank you Dr. Kalin

One thing I’ve learned throughout my years seeing cardiologists is that it is important to find a doctor who not only knows what they are doing, but knows how to treat their patients with care and concern. Dr. John Kalin has both. He is the utmost professional, develops a treatment plan to suit each patient, but also shows real compassion when dealing with his patients. I have several doctors for my medical concerns and Dr. Kalin is far and away my favorite.

Very unfortunate experience. Rude and inconsiderate, Refuse to assist obtaining medical records namely to find the type of stents I have after suffering 2 heart attacks. I was very cordial and respectful but totally dismayed by his behavior. My first complaint about a Dr in my life. Have no pleasure in writing this but it may help someone.

I can't say enough about Dr. Kalin and could not recommend him more highly. I had visited several cardiologists over the years but when I first entered Dr. Kalin's practice I knew I was in the right place. He was attentive to my needs, he answered every question I had, and left me with a solid treatment plan going forward. I now recommend Dr. Kalin to all my friends and colleagues on Cape Cod.

Dr. Kalin was a pleasure to deal with. He was on time for the appointment, and his staff was very courteous. I heard from a number of people in the area that he was the one to go to for my health issues, and he did not disappoint. I could not recommend him more highly. A pleasure to deal with and I know I got the best possible care.

A missed diagnosis combined with a total lack of interest. No communication skills .

The office personnel are rude. I arrived 5 minutes late, literally, and was told by the receptionist, after "consulting with Dr. Kalin" that because I was a few minutes late, I would have to wait until 11:30 AM - 2 1/2 hours! I live 25 minutes away, ran into a little more traffic than I had anticipated and had waited over 2 months for the appoinment after my Primary had given me a referal. I had to leave as I did not have 2 1/2 hours to wait. Unprofessional.
