Dr. Kresl and his staff were professional and compassionate throughout the radiation treatment regime. Ongoing care is provided weekly by either Dr. Kresl or assigned NP to monitor and review symptoms and progress throughout treatment. The treatment team nurse was always available to consult by telephone if there were concerns regarding symptoms arising during treatments. It is mentally a shock (not to mention the physical aspects) to hear a cancer diagnosis. It was comforting to feel the patient is heard and remarkable what a difference it makes to have such a caring and competent treatment team for handling a cancer diagnosis. I was diagnosed with prostate cancer in early 2022. I went to see Dr Kresl and was very impressed with his bedside manner, his willingness to spend as much time as I wanted to explain the approach he felt was best for my situation. We began (almost immediately) to do radiation therapy and hormone therapy.His crew of nurses and radiation specialists are the best I have ever experienced. Their attitude, professionalism, cheerfulness and teasing made me feel right at home. In early 2023 I was diagnosed with lung cancer with metastasis to the spine, which caused me a great deal of pain in my back. Dr. J. Kresl did SRBT (Cybernife radiation) to my thoracic spine area in April 2023; fast forward 4 months and my spine is literally pain free and I can walk again without pain !! I had no expectations nor any idea how Dr. Kresl would change the trajectory of my health. To this day & for all days, I am & will continue to be very grateful to him & his staff at Phoenix Cyberknife. While researching other options to treat my brain tumor, I came across radiation. But not just any. Cyberknife radiation. It sounded too good to be true. So I emailed them via their website. I never expect to hear back from them since I hadn’t heard back from another, well-known office. It was Dr. Kresl saying yes, they can help. From the moment of the consultation to my very recent 1yr check up, he & his staff have not only taken such good care of me, they are kind, caring, & always available to answer my questions. Karen, in particular, is amazing! It’s been almost 2 yrs since my radiation treatment & not a day has passed where I don’t say a silent “thank you” to them. If you’re looking at possible options for your treatment, call them!

The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and professional. We were always treated with compassion and respect. All of our questions were addressed and my treatments were timely. For other than a frightening diagnosis, my experience of treatment was well handled.

IT’S THE PEOPLE! I am finishing up my Radiation treatment for Prostate Cancer and would like to offer some feedback on my treatment at Phoenix Cyberknife with Dr. Kresl and his staff. I have to say it was a pleasant experience. Considering the treatments, that is a high compliment. Modern medicine and modern technology are WONDERFUl! But, as great as all that is, what made this treatment pleasant was THE PEOPLE! Dr Kresl himself is a kind, friendly, and a very knowledgeable doctor who puts the patient’s needs first and treats them with dignity and kindness. His hand picked staff are AMAZING! Always a smile and genuine concern for the patient. All of them are dedicated to their jobs, and fully trained and knowledgeable about all aspects of the treatment process. Always ready to answer questions and offer reassurances about the treatment process.

The usual prostate radiation treatment takes 30 to 40 days. The Phoenix cyberknife treatment takes 5 days. The difference is due to stronger radiation for fewer days. I interviewed Dr Kresl, the head man at Phoenix Cyberknife, and he explained that the robotic radiation is very precise and it only takes about half and hour for five days . Dr Kresl was very knowledgeable and explained the whole procedure in very simple terms. I have just finished the 5 day radiation treatment for my prostate cancer and there was no pain involved and I am 91. In addition the technician who oversaw my treatments was both professional and made sure I was in the right position for each treatment. All in all the Cyberknife staff were all very helpful and in my opinion my trust in Dr Kresl has been fully repaid

A little over 2 1/2 years now since being treated by Dr. Kresl at Cyberknife. With the continued follow up this week our benchmark was reached with a PSA reading of below 1.0 for a 60 year old. The treatment was invasive and a big success after being diagnosed with early stage 2 prostate cancer with very few side effects. THANK YOU to Dr. KRESL and his staff for answering all my questions and guiding me through the SUCCESSFUL treatment process and follow up at CYBERKNIFE.

Words aren’t enough to express how thankful my family and I are to Dr. Kresl and his entire staff! When my husband and I met Dr. Kresl, he made us feel at home. He took the time to explain everything about my case, and he responded to every question we had with so much knowledge and, (most importantly to us), so much empathy. This wonderful man projects love through his eyes and his words. Every member of his staff treated me as if I was literally their relative, from the receptionists to his entire team of technicians/nurses. Dr Kresl and his staff are highly professional and compassionate. Always made me feel welcome(front end staff need to smile a lil) The technicians in the radiology room are always there with a good word and a smile DR Kresl himself is a gem . Down to earth and tells it like it is !!!!

Dr. Kresl and complete staff is very professional and a pleasure to be under their care. I had prostate cancer my psa was over 9, now after 5 years my psa is undetectable. I would highly recommend the Cyberknife radiation therapy.

My experience with Dr. Kresl and the entire staff at Phoenix Cyberknife was outstanding. First, when you find out you have cancer and that rocks your world you then search for the best of the best.....of the best. I did a lot of studying and decided to talk with Dr. Kresl. My wife and I were comfortable from the first minute to the treatment suggestions to the actual treatment. As much as we admire Dr. Kresl the best part was that the staff was caring, courteous and professional. I had 9 weeks of radiation and the staff ended up feeling like family. Dr. Kresl has a top shelf operation from the time you enter the office until your last treatment is finished. There's nothing, absolutely nothing that I would complain about from the initial appointment to the last treatment to the followups I'm doing quarterly now. I'm sure there's other great places to be treated but I would never think of using anyone except Phoenix Cyberknife and Dr. Kresl and crew.
