My hands and feet no longer sweat, and my armpits sweat significantly less. While I've noticed increased sweating in other areas, like my chest, back, and butt, I'm overall very happy with the results and would absolutely do it again. when I first came in I was skeptical about the surgery just because of many bad experiences I've read online with other people about other surgeons. Hyperhidrosis has bothered me so much that i was willing to risk it even if it meant id sweat from other unusual areas of my body. I had a sympathectomy performed by Dr. Langenfeld and it went tremendously. I had severe sweating from my hands, armpits, feet and hands and since the procedure that has been eradicated. There is some compensatory sweating on my chest and back as a result of the procedure, but that was mentioned prior to surgery. Given the choice I would choose surgery 10 out of 10 times and thank Dr. Langenfeld for his care and consideration.
