Wonderful Doctor
He took time with me and listened. Didnt push the surgery on me like a lot of other doctors do. When we’ve exhausted our options, we moved on with the surgery and it went smoothly. I was back in my shoes in just a month and barely had any pain during my recovery. Did I mention that he did the whole surgery thru just a small incision?!Highly recommend

Wrong size screw
Dr Lapelusa performed a bunionectomy requiring cutting two bones & insertion of two screws on May 26th. He assured me everything was progressing normally & 9 weeks later told me I could resume walking. One month later I was told to put the surgical boot on, use crutches & in my chart indicated he thought the bone was necrotic. 6 weeks later the Orthopedist told me the bone was merely slow in healing, not necrotic & I should resume walking with a carbon fiber insert. On February 5th the orthopedist told me healing was progressing nicely but one screw was too long & would probably need to be surgically removed if the pain continued.
