Ignores requests
Dr Lewis ignored two requests for cardiac referrals. Finally responded on the 3rd request. I supplied the name. His referrals to cardiology and urology were less than stellar. Poor physicians in both cases. Unfortunately he is my PCP at this time but I am searching for a new one.

Poor communication.
Non-responding to messages. Could be nurse problem; but the Dr. needs to be good manager as well.

Dr. Lewis is a great listener
He has a good staff and always takes the time to explain and ask specific questions. If he doesn't have an answer, he always follows up to find an answer. I am not intimidated to let him know if I am having any "special" problems, as I know sometimes it is NOT best to ignore conditions that may embarrass me.

Needed primary care physician when my doctor died. Started seeing Dr Lewis couple of years ago. Extremely pleased with his office and his care. Would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. Spends time with patient. Listens and discusses options fully. Trust him explicitly. Came back to add comment...above written before I saw the additional 'points' to be 'rated'.
