I highly recommend Dr. Mangan.
I was given an appointment in a very timely manner. The office staff was pleasant and helpful. Dr. Mangan was very intelligent and forthright in explaining the surgery I needed. He showed a great deal of concern and compassion for the pain I was in. I had complete confidence in Dr. Mangan’s skills as a surgeon. The Surgery itself was very easy, and although the recovery was a little longer than I had thought it would be, Dr. Mangan and his staff helped me every step of the way. Also, I’m 71 and not in the greatest of shape, so at my age, it was easy to see why it would take me a bit longer to heal. However, within a few months, I was as good as new. I would absolutely go back to him again, if the need ever arose. Dr. Mangan was great!!!

Highly recommend Dr Mangan
He explained my MRI findings and explained the surgery so we could understand exactly what was involved. He didn't sugar coat anything, but he didn't scare me either. Surgery did include an unforseen complication, but my trust in Dr Mangan never waived. Today I had my first post op appointment and all is well. I really appreciated that he gave us enough time to ask questions before surgery, during my hospital stay and at my post op appointment.

Emergency surgery for Cauda Equina syndrome
Dr.Mangan was a superb surgeon!! Performed emergency surgery with spinal fusion and did exactly as he said and was able to relieve the emergent symptoms and restore function. Still need another surgery to correct scoliosis! Hoping to have Dr. Mangan for that as well!! Highly recommend. Very thorough, listened to all my symptoms and explained exactly what he would do, also very personable!

Bright, extremely talented, plus personable.
Dr. Mangan took his time with me, listened closely to my description of symptoms in pain, evaluated my MRI and explained every detail to me thoroughly. I was able to proceed with with great confidence.
