He is excellent!!!!
I do believe that Dr. Markert is one of the last old school doctors that truly do care about their patients. I was a patient of Dr. Womack until he retired then switched to Dr. Markert and there was no difference in my care. I know he has tried to find another doctor to join his practice but has had no success because Dr. Markert puts people before money. Thank you Dr. Markert

John Markert is a very good physician. He let his pride get in the way once and it affected me. He could not admit that his office staff or himself had made a mistake. Male physicians especially have big egos and too much pride to admit when they are wrong. Without this incident he would have gotten five stars from me.

I had Dr Peveler until he retired. Then I had Dr. Womack whom is also now retiring. So now I happily see Dr. Markert. It’s in my opinion these are the three top Doctors in Louisville.

Dr. Markert has great bedside manner and explains medical conditions in language you can understand. He also spends the time needed to answer all your questions and does not leave until you fully understand how to further follow up on any medical needs questioned about. I would recommend Dr. Markert to all family and friends.

The healthcare is good enough but their processes are a train wreck. Don’t walk out without a paper order for any test you need or a paper prescription. Calling orders to testing facilities and prescriptions exceeds the ability of their staff. Repeatedly. No customer service. No way to contact them - no answering machine or service. Just a mess. Time to look for a new provider.

Dr Markert is one of the nicest, caring and intelligent doctors I've found. He always takes the time to explain things and he remembers important things about your conditions.
