Dr. John Martin, MD

I was a young single mother when I was referred to Dr Martin for my second pregnancy. At my first appointment he saw that I was single and asked me if I was sure I was going to keep the baby because he wasn't going to treat me if I was just going to terminate the pregnancy. I had given no indication that I was not going to keep the baby. This was offensive. Throughout the entire duration of a pregnancy we discussed doing a tubal ligation at the time of delivery. He pretended to be on board with that explaining it to me every time I asked. I even signed the consent forms. At the time of delivery right before I was put under for an emergency C-section, he said he had changed his mind about the tubal ligation and was not going to be performing it. He stated that I was too young to make that decision. That I would regret it later in life. So in other words he's very condescending to young women who are in his care. Additionally he messed up my daughter's belly button.

Dr. Martin was my doctor for two of my daughter’s births, first in 1995, then in 1999. He was an exceptional doctor. We moved from Las Vegas to Utah in 2003, or I would still be a patient.

Dr Martin is amazing, he has a great bedside manner and I always felt so comfortable with him. He answered all my thousands of questions with our first baby, would recommend him to all my friends!

Always kind and caring including the staff. Drs.Martin & Swainton take time to educate the patient. What a concept! HIGHLY RECOMMEND this practice.

Dr. Martin was the only doctor who was finally able to correctly diagnose me after dealing with horrible pain for six plus years. He saved my life and for this I am extremely grateful. He always takes his time with his patients and sticks by your decisions and helps you through it 100%. He is an amazing doctor!!

Dr Martin is the most supportive , kind DR I have ever encountered. He listens to concerns takes his time, genuinely cares about your well being and the outcome and sticks by you through the entire process. You never feel dismissed or rushed in his presence. I trust him completely. He has been patient with me and responds to all my questions and concerns within seconds via text or in person. He is the most committed doctor I have come across in the US and Canada. I feel very fortunate .

He was my doctor when I was in the hospital and also followed up with him when I was releases.He is a very good doctor who cares about his patients health needs,and give u the best care that's fit for you and recommendations.He don't rush when he is in The room with you he listens to all your concerns and questions.Only thing is he gets booked months in advance so that says a lot.I would definitely recommend him to anyone.he has my 5+stars!!

Very kind, friendly, understanding, great listener, makes you feel like you are the only patient he has all day. He came highly recommended by many of my friends.

Always running late however is amazing! I never felt rushed when he was with me and he is absolutely personable.

I recommend Dr John Martin with all my heart, He has been very good to me since 1995, I have been he's patient, He took the time to help me when I was in so much pain, took time and much efforts to not only make feel better but took care of my emergency need, wish it was a ovarie issue I feel very good and happy with this Dr and he's nurse Shannon :) I will recommend him always!
