Dr McDonald is in my estimation an excellent doctor and leader. I am so blessed to have found him and Dr. Fitch as my Primary care providers. Wouldn't trade for any other Doctors as I feel so valued and important by this clinic.

Exceptional Doctor.
Dr. John McDonald has been my primary care physician for approximately 3 years now. He has navigated a very difficult case with no records to start. He has been caring, professional and above all, empathetic about my health needs. He has referred me to Specialists outside of his expertise when needed. Thanks to Dr. McDonald I have 80% of my health back and I am grateful to him. He is not a coddling hand holding doctor but what he is is a doctor that can diagnose, treat and cure. Dr. McDonald is also a leader of men, an educator. He is a an asset to all Residents in his program and respected by anyone who knows him. I am just a patient. No one special. Just someone who has read these reviews and find them very “off” and unfair. He doesn’t get a voice on here. Try and remember that as you read negativity.

No bedside manner
Everytime I go in to visit Dr Mcdonald it's all about my weight. Oh, lost weight unexpectedly, it's ok cuz you're obese. Snore? Well, it's obesity. He doesn't give advice on it or refer you out just tells you to try harder and rushes you out the door.

My Doctor left and I got stuck with this one.
I have had to see Dr McDonald a few times over the past year. He is not kind and seems very arrogant and that had me feeling worse at the end of each visit. The staff was ok but the actual doctor visit was just strange. He seemed very nervous and did not smile one time. Please do yourself a favor and keep looking. I miss my previous doctor.

I was very disappointed about my last visit. I felt rushed and he didn't even act a little concerned about me. I've seen him 4 times and he acts like this every time. He should have taken classes on how to be a compassionate person.
