Great Surgeon and Staff
I had rotator cuff surgery and in six months I have made a full recovery along with great rehab. Dr McGarry is excellent and easy to speak to. You will be in good hands if you have your surgery done with him

Still receiving bills years after surgery.
I had meniscus surgery and am feeling worse than when I went in for my operation. I was having pain in the knee and completed 6 months of PT, decided to let Dr. McGary operate because he stated it would be the next best step. Surgery was supposed to be 30 min, instead it was 90 minutes. He had to remove all of the cartilage because the tear was so extensive. So much money spent, months of learning how to walk again, and I can't dance, run, box, or do any level of fitness like I used to. I regret ever having surgery and seeing this doctor. Paying the bill, so they can leave me alone.

Highly
My first time to see Dr. McGerry. I was very happy with the results I received. I have to go back for a follow up. I would recommend him to anyone. I was at one of my doctors and told him that I saw Dr. McGerry and he spoke highly of him.

Top Notch Insight & Guidance
Thank you for a timely, thorough and well organized medical experience. Very professional team. Arrived in pain, concerned and questioning what was going on physically. Left with a specific action plan knowing exactly how to treat and get on the road to recovery.

MACI Surgery
Dr. McGarry did my MACI surgery and I am thrilled with the results. My right leg got severely painful and I could not walk at all some days. MACI surgery is a lengthy recovery but 7 months later, I can jog and train legs again! I recommend Dr. McGarry and would go to him again.

Did meniscus surgery on my and I am worse off
I wish I would have gone and received a second opinion before I let him operate on my knee. He assured me meniscus surgery was no big deal “in and out in 20 minutes.” I ran marathons and half marathons before I let him do surgery on my. Worst mistake in my life. I had surgery on May 5 2023 and I still can’t run and my knee has never been the same. I am worse off. I went and got a second opinion and he said he would not have recommended surgery but PT for 6 months and if it was still not better than we would have talked about surgery. Please, before you let him operate on you, please go get a second opinion from an independent orthopedic surgeon. A second opinion before surgery can’t hurt anyone. I wish I would have never met this surgeon. If you have surgery with him, I wish you the best of luck. I still can’t run and he was in my knee for over an hour. Post op visit lasted less than 8 minutes.

Rotator cuff repair using biopatch
I had rotator cuff surgery twice before. Once, each shoulder. Neither with Dr. McGarry. The second surgery on my right shoulder with Dr McGarry went much better than previous two surgeries. At 11 weeks I had full range of motion. At 12 weeks, I am released to start getting back to normal. I realize that I still have work to do but this experience has been much easier and with significantly less pain.

Second opinion
I sought a second opinion on diagnosis and management of recurrent knee pain worsened by an acute injury. I chose Dr McGarry from a list of seemingly equally qualified specialists based on good reviews of his communication skills. I was not disappointed. He was genuinely interested in knowing the true underlying problem in my case. Very reassuring.

Excellent first experience
It’s a large orthopedic center. It seems to be run well. Plenty of staff assisting docs to make your visit simple and seamless. On my visit there was a “welcoming person” just walking through the waiting room to see if any needed any assistance. Have never seen that. Very nice.My first visit with Dr. McGarry was friendly, efficient, and I felt confident in his approach. My condition didn’t require brain surgery, but I would definitely use him again and recommend him to anyone, based on my one visit.
