OMSA's John Mitchell, DDS and his staff are rock stars of oral surgery. From the receptionist to his surgical assistant, and not the least of all, Dr. Mitchell, himself were professional, friendly, and competent. They explained everything well, put me at ease and did the extraction quickly but not hurriedly. Five stars and top marks all the way.

I am 65 and had to have an upper molar removed. I’m so glad I didn’t have a dentist do it. Dr. Mitchell is the best. Period. He has mastered his craft. Not sure how he did it but wow, what a relief! It’s day two and other than my jaw being a little sore, no pain.

Dr. Mitchell and his staff were so wonderful! My daughter needed a tooth pulled before the covid shutdown. So six months later, it was in terrible shape and causing her pain. Not only did they get us in the next week, we live three hours away, so they scheduled an appointment Monday afternoon with the surgery Tuesday morning. When sedating my daughter, Dr. Mitchell observed her behavior and reasoned that the shot of Ketamine was sufficient to pull her tooth without pain or memory of the event. He chose to save her small body the extra drugs and save our wallet the extra money by not doing the IV. It took him ten minutes to pull the tooth and it is healing so nicely! I would recommend Dr. Mitchell to anyone!

My son had a bad tricycle accident and had to have a front tooth removed. He was just under 2 years old so this procedure was terrifying to me as a mother. He was incredibly professional while also having incredible bedside manner. He did a wonderful job on my son and I would recommend him to anyone. Even though he did not treat me personally, I can fully appreciate how well he treated and cared for my child.

He cares very little for the well-being of his patients, he seems to only care about being professional. His attention is entirely on HIS idea of what it means to be a professional, and NOT on listening to his patients much at all. If your needs are not something he's previously delt with, then he is unbelievably lousy, self-centered, and nearly sociopathic.
