Dr. John Morrison III, MD

We were so fortunate to have found Dr. Morrison after relocating to Florida last year. He is the first family doctor I've met who takes time to learn a little about his patients on a personal level in order to tailor care to each individual. Dr. Morrison is very knowledgable about many aspects of body systems, nutrition, and provides good advice in a friendly way. We have found he is an incredible supporter and effectively functions as a quarterback to make sure patients get the help they need from within the larger Advent system. I highly recommend Dr. Morrison as a trustworthy and skilled doctor.

My husband and I moved to Florida a few years ago and Dr. Morrison is the first Doctor in years that we feel is a true Healer and listens and makes sure we get the right treatment. Due to his pro-active attitude my husband was treated for a condition other Doctors never even looked at and we feel he saved his life!! Can not say enough.

He started out as a nice, albeit not so knowledgeable physician.That all changed since he started doing telehealth.He become rude & very abrupt to a point where he doesn't even ask to see the real patient over telehealth.He was managing my mom for few years & prescribing her meds & all of a sudden he stopped one of her meds abruptly.My mom had been on this med for 10 yrs,even before she started seeing him.As a result of this doctor's action,she became so sick.When my mom got contacted him to let him know,he showed complete disregard and apathy about her condition.Dr. Morrison lacks knowledge & that showed when he prescribed two meds that had dangerous interactions together.Whenever my mom messages him,he never responds himself & his MA, who is also very rude,takes days,sometimes more than a week to respond & there has been times when they don't even respond back. I will be sure to complain to Florida Board of Medicine about the dangerous interaction & abrupt discontinuation of her meds

Dr Morrison identifies a series of tests he wanted to see performed based on my bloodwork. I felt as if he was taking the necessary actions given the blood tests to make sure any underlying issue (s) were identified. He is very personable and takes the time to talk to our and answer any questions you may have. He is also mindful of your time, and as such your wait time is minimal. So far I am very pleased with Dr Morrison.

Dr. John is truly a family doctor. He takes time to know the patient and LISTENS! Great staff, excellent referals to top notch specialists.

For Dr Morrison. Not sure if you remember me but I was your patient for a few years. Jeanne Showalter. You were instrumental in finding the diagnosis’s that were causing my daily pain. You helped to stabilize my health even though I have several incurable autoimmune diseases and disorders. You were always kind and the first to call me a Warrior for what I endure. Since having to move back to the Panhandle of Florida my health has become extremely unstable again as there are no drs that care to listen or support complex cases as mine. I’ve had one TKR with another needed soon. I’m in 24/7 pain with no relief as no one will address my pain. The drs are also trying to take my antidepressants and anxiety medications away. I have also been diagnosed with fibromyalgia as well as waiting to see if I have EDS Hypermobility added to the Lupus, DDD, Hashimotos etc. I miss your kindness. I have medical anxiety from how I’ve been treated since moving. You deserve 10 stars.

I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Morrison. He's extremely personable, talks like he's known you your whole life. He takes time and treats you like you're his only patient. I love that he's not quick to throw medication at a problem but instead takes a more natural approach with lifestyle changes and supplements, if needed. He seems to know what he's talking about and is just generally good at what he does. He always gives a good plan of action and provides appropriate follow up. Looking forward to having him care for me and the rest of my family.

Dr. Morrison is a great Doctor! He took the time to listen to my problems. He is kind and compassionate. I would recommend Dr. Morrison to anyone!

This so-called 'doctor' is shameless, shady, greedy, and heartless. Buyer Beware! I wish I could give negative stars! He gives the whole medical profession a bad reputation in and of himself, for being so hypocritical - instead of following the Hippocratic oath.

Do not go here - buyer beware! This man will put faulty filler in your face and then not take responsibility for his actions. He will look straight at a few undissolved balls in your face and not even care or take any responsibility. Greedy and shady group with horrible service, bad filler, - and even worse - no conscience, whatsoever! I wish I could give negative stars! They left me in discomfort and pain for several months. Had first appt with Dr. Morrison today as my Primary Care Doctor. The one word that covers it all WOW. Dr. Morrison covered my entire medical history, looking at ways to improve my treatments and medications, and intends to eliminate a or some meds where possible. I can't say enough how comfortable I felt after leaving his office and his plan going forward. THANKS Dr. Morrison and staff.

Dr. Morrison is one of the best doctors I’ve had. He takes his time to explain your concerns and has excellent bedside manners! I couldn’t have found a better doctor. God bless him! An Angel sent from heavens!

This man is the bomb! Fantastic, smart and funny. I've worked 22 years in the local ICU's as a nurse and although I've never worked with or for him in any of them I needed a primary one day and found him over the internet. His bedside manner is really second to none. I'm pretty picky being in this business. He sits down and really listens to you, cares about you as a human being and wants to get to the root of the problem and fix it quickly. My only regret, I lost him due to insurance changes.

Fantastic! He actually listens to his patients and helps them. The first really considerate physician I've met in the Tampa Bay area.

I have been seeing Dr Morrison for 6 years now and wouldn't even consider any other doctor. His bedside manner is awesome and he's very thorough. I would highly recommend him!

Dr Morrison possibly saved my life with his diagnosis and treatment. He caught melanoma early and was able to remove it all. He really seems to care about you as a person and always has time for pleasantries. I rarely have to wait past my appointment time. From the office staff to his nurse they are all so wonderful and caring that I drive from south of Sarasota to see them even after having moved away from their area 4 months ago. I got lucky finding him when I moved here.
