Dr. Muse takes the time to explain things clearly. He suggested additional ways to increase the flexibility in my joints even while taking my morning shower. The warm shower water helps with the movements of my knees and arms and aids in the gentle exercises. His suggestion has paid off for me as it gave me more movement in the mornings. I would highly recommend her.

I had Dr Muse for years at MGH. He doesn't listen. I was naive and told myself perhaps I didn't explain things clearly. I often went to the walk-in clinic instead, before I found a new doc. One time I was trying to explain I'd been weak and lightheaded for weeks following a flu-like illness. He never let me explain the history, but insisted I answer his questions in his order. He said it was anxiety from starting my new job (I'd already been at that job for a year). He actually used the trope about "participation trophies" and claimed I wasn't prepared for the "real world", and prescribed an antidepressant. Every time I tried to give him more background he cut me off. Another time I presented with eye pain. He said my eyes looked normal, said to see an eye doctor only if there's obvious redness and pus. He was nearly shouting. He somehow convinced me to delay, and my vision was affected permanently. Also, based on his email replies he has possible disabilities reading and writing.

Please do not go to Dr. Muse. Rude, condescending, and so many more adjectives. I can’t believe B&W hired him. So disappointed.

All about him. No concern for patient. I followed him from office to office for 30 years. He took a job in my hometown but wouldn't take me as a patient. Blamed bureaucracy. Wouldn't let him treat my cat.

I would not recommend Dr. Muse to anyone. He spends very little time with you, and has a generally flippant and condescending attiude. He made me feel stupid, even when it was clear that he was not listening to me.

After being a patient of Dr. Muse's for most of my adult life, I was informed via a form letter that he left Beacon Hill Primary. It is disappointing to know that I was meeting with him a couple of days before he left the practice yet he said nothing. While I understand it is a complicated process given all the restrictions. As my primary, it was expected that our plan for my care would include a new doctor referral but no, that was not given. Just left to sort through the reports on my own.
