Dr. John Neff, MD

Dr. Neff saw a family member and, to his credit, properly diagnosed them but for some mind-boggling reason, had absolutely no idea how to treat which a simple internet search would have revealed. When patient asked if a specialist should be consulted for treatment, Dr. Neff dismissed the patient's question with a reminder to attend pain classes. And, Dr. Neff never put the diagnosis into patient's chart leaving patient and other doctors searching for answers as patient became extremely debilitated from a common, treatable disorder.

I have not seen Dr. Neff for a few years. It was f/u to my Pain Mgmt class, and the best I could tell, all he did was make sure I wasn't taking drugs (which I wasn't). Chat, chat... about nothing in particular. He was always very haughty, without merit. My last appt with him was a phone appt. and he asked me what I was up to. I told him I was doing some political promotion for one of the local candidates (did not say who). and he absolutely went nuts, yelling about politics and how much he hated the mainstream media. etc. I ended the call as soon as I could. The next day (as was the custom) his nurse called to rebook me. I told her I would not be seeing him anymore. IMO, he is unstable and not appropriate to be involved with any sort of pain management.

I saw Dr. Neff for sciatic nerve pain due to a herniated disc. He spent a lot of time explaining the condition and treatment options to me in a way I could understand. He answered all my questions and gave me the power to choose from many different treatment options. He was empathetic, caring and compassionate, and encouraging.

I was so surprised to see low stars. I went to see him for me/cfs and he was very nice. Seemed to really care and understand my illness. He answered all the questions and concerns I had.

Dr. Neff was very open to answering any question my wife or I had about my condition. He was informative had excellent rapport knowledgeable and professional.

Absolutely rude, patronizing, belittling, self righteous man. I do not need to hear about how your health issues and X-rays turned out fine to be convinced that you can assure mine will too without you ever examining me. My most recent visit will be my last!

Had an appt yesterday with him. Have chronic issues and aslso worked as RN all my life. Never came across such unprofessional, uncaring, judgmental doctor in my life. Came out crying, and never want to see him again. Do not go to him. He seriously lacks human compassion.

Horrible. Short, rude, cold. Obviously lacks compassion for his patients and doesn't spend much time with you in your appointment. WASTE OF MONEY. Do not see him. I walked out crying.
