Unbelievable
I had already left a negative view. But, my first time to pain management and been on Xanax for over a decade and was trying to stop. Over a short period I was still struggling stopping Xanax and I was fired. Which I was kinda shocked being it was a difficult thing to do and not having a great support system. Now I am off Xanax. I would have to say communication could have been a lot better. Now it’s ruined me being able to find an appointment with anyone else. I’m am in so much pain. don’t try to call because you won’t get a response. I walked out of there in so much and depressed.Thanks.

On my very first visit he had me put on a gown too small for me and had me bend over and try to touch my toes with my bottom hanging out and uncovered. I have never had a pain management or Any Doctor request that for any reason. Very awkward, unsettling, and humiliating. He is not very patient friendly. He is also arrogant and rude. He has no verbal filter and doesn't mind body shaming and degrading a patient in front of other patients. I would recommend this Dr only as a very Last resort.

HORRIBLE. Unprofessional and Uncomfortable. I have been to a few pain clinics and seen many Drs at one clinic. Something is not right at that clinic. Not once in 6 years have I EVER been asked to strip down to bra and underwear to put on a gown that was too small for a simple exam that has always been done fully clothed at other offices. Asked to bend over with my underwear and entire backside showing. I was also told that I would not get my meds unless I lost weight and stopped smoking. The Dr is bigger than I am. Filling out forms is a waste because he will repeatedly ask you the same questions over and over about medications. Had to tell him repeatedly that I was no longer taking certain medications. I had already provided the updated list. Previous to my first appointment I Was Not told to be there 30 minutes early. I was rescheduled after almost a two hour drive. Had to tell him more than twice which medications I was allergic to and that I was on anticlotting meds. Out of space.

The doctor is very very rude, unethical and unprofessional in how he treats his patients. Today I seen him for a monthly follow up appointment is it has been for the past year now. He was supposed to be treating my pain but kept addressing my weight. Remind you he's no small guy himself. He humiliated me in back room as wasi listened to the disgusting things he had to say to me. I startered to cry he continued I told him I can address my weight issues with my primary care doctor and then I am currently doing something about it but he continued. He went on to say very nasty hurtful things. Then he walked out because he said he wanted me to do a sleep study because of my size but when I walked to the back exit door I reminded him that I just had a sleep study done that he himself requested September of last year so it hadn't been quite a year yet to have another sleep study and I doubt if my insurance is going to pay for another one. He then continued to humiliate me in front of his staf

I have gone to him for right at 3 years and when I call to reschedule they say I never called and charge a $100.00 missed appointment . I had an appointment on Jan. 3 2019 I called and left a message that I needed to reschedule due to the weather , I have called 2 times a week since and just get voicemail I ask them to please call me so I can reschedule. Still NOTHING so I am looking at going to a different PAIN MGMT DOCTOR and I will NOT refer anyone to him.

I have tried 32 times to call there office in 2 days to set an appointment change the doctor requested to get a voice mail box that is full and can not leave any more messages and hung up on. And here the message if you cancel your appointment with in 48 hours of the appointment there's a $35 fee and no show to your appointment is $100. How in the world do you change or cancel appointment if you can not get a hold of them and live 2 hours away from there office?

I went to him and he treated me like I was a street drug addict! I have been disabled for 14 years and on medication for the same length of time and in a lot of pain! He called my PCP an idiot, and talked to me like I was an idiot! Any treatment he ordered took months to happen, if happened at all! I was there each time about 2.5 hours but, let me be late 5 minutes and they would cancel me.

It's difficult to say which is worse, the staff or the Doctor. Extremely rude staff. I was told my appointment was at 9am. So I came in at 9am. Then I was told I was supposed to be 30minutes early since I was a new patient and had to fill out paperwork. So why would they not tell me this important bit of information? Instead of sending me out the door for being late? The Doctor himself took 0 time to listen to anything I said. It seems he had his mind on prescribing me lyrica before I even talked

Office staff is very unprofessional!! The turnover rate in the office staff is unbelievable! Their new policy stated patients have to be 15 mins early to all appointments or appointment will be rescheduled. I've had several 0800 appointments and I arrive at 0745 and the office staff isn't there yet! Wait times to see the doctor is unreal. A 15min follow up appointment has taken almost 2 hours. None of the office staff is knowledgeable in the medical field. Maybe Taco Bell drive thru.

Dr Nelson is one of the most honest if not straightforward doctors I've ever been a patient of. His practice is professional and quick. I've been a patient of Dr Nelsons for over a year now and he has treated me for several issues and he's been guiding me towards receiving the best therapy possible.

I use to see him, personally he is a great guy, but the staff has been an issue for me. They had a tendency to overbook appointments, had a 4 hour wait at times. Urine samples were sent out to whoever contacted them, i still have $1000 worth of collections because insurance doesnt cover chiropractors to do lab work and not at $400 either. If insurance didnt pay fast enough they would turn it immediately to collections, I'm still getting those off my credit record.
