Wonderful Doctor
I see this doctor for my thyroid and my diabetes. He is kind and a good listener. I greatly appreciate having him on my health team. He has been easy to talk with and patient when explaining things to me. I highly recommend him to anyone who wants a good doctor on their health team.

This was my first visit. I was very impressed. He took his time, addressed all of my questions and concerns, and explained everything in a way that I could understand. If you are looking for an outstanding specialist, you have found him.

Dr. Paes is exceptional in his care!
He took time in my visit--wasn't pushed out the door after 15 min like my former endo. I was diagnosed Type 1 at age 54 and he has helped me tremendously. I found him through the Juicebox Podcast which is also a huge support to Type 1's

Thorough and knowledgeable
I have several different issues including diabetes 2 which has become difficult to control. Dr Paes listened carefully, asked salient questions and discussed a variety of available options drawing thoughtful conclusions and offering a reasonable treatment plan. He is what a modern doctor should be without ego or aggression.

Great Doc
Dr. Paes is a very thorough doctor. He takes the time to listen and is very knowledgeable! We have been able to keep my diabetes under control very well. He has great bedside manner too! Would definitely recommend!

Poor practice
I haven't been able to schedule with him because the office never responds. My dr. sent a referral which was supposed to be under review by this practice. After several weeks I tried calling in to the office numerous times. First the phone rings forever then you get transferred to scheduling but there is never anyone to take your call. So I leave yet another message. Very poorly run.

Excellent
Dr. Paes is the 3rd doctor in the Columbus area I’ve seen for my Thyroid over the course of 10 years. He is AMAZING; thoughtful, patient, attentive, knowledgeable, and has great bedside manner. Did not immediately rush me into discussions of surgery, but was direct and decisive when we got to the point where it was ultimately necessary. I’m totally comfortable and confident in his ongoing care and treatment plan. I cannot say an enough great things about Dr. Paes and his practice. I have zero hesitation recommending him to anyone who needs an excellent endocrinologist.

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST in all of this city!
NEVER trust a Doctor that is on time! This is an absolute indicator that they don’t spend time with their patients! Dr Paes was a little bit late…and it was because he CARES ABOUT YOU! He tells the truth and he is genuine. I wish he would be able to be my Family Dr. However, he has chosen what he loves and it shows. He gets a 10 in my book! Thanks Doc! I will be back!

Great help
Dr. Paes has helped me understand and control my Type 2 diabetes. He has spent a lot of time getting to know me, and tailor a plan to help me. We talk through many things other than diabetes. I trust him, and look forward to our appointment, even when I don’t have good test results. Dr. Paes is a quality medical pro, and a good man.
