Appreciative
I appreciate the care I receive from Dr. Park and his staff. I have many endocrine issues and see doctors specific to my needs. Dr. Parker is helping with my diabetes and monitoring my thyroid issues and prolactin numbers. I felt right at ease when I told him of my previous pituitary tumor, mentioned the doctors who treated me, and he said, 'I have their books on my shelf in my office.' This made me feel great going to his office. Currently I see his PA Amanda Wills as well between appointments with Dr. Parker. I do recommend this office. They are very easy to communicate with and take my concerns seriously. I want a doctor and team to treat me. I don't need a friend I have to co-pay to see.

Dr. Parker is a terrific physician, but he is affiliated with Wilmington Health, which provides HORRID patient support staff. They are so bad at their jobs that important patient information like lab results & messages gets lost, endangering the health of patients. I'm retired from the medical field & would never recommend anyone use a doctor affiliated with Wilmington Health. Too bad, because Dr. Parker is excellent.

My visit with Dr. Parker is always a good visit. He is through and he listen to me as a patient. However I would like to thank Angelica the young lady that check me in on Friday. She was a professional and very knowledgeable. I also received good help from Angela, Jennifer and Karen at the check out area. Please let these young ladies know I appreciate how pleasant they made my visit. They all are great with people and they deserve to know what a great job they are doing.

Dr. Parker is the best Endoscopy around! I have been to several in Wilmington before going to Chapel Hill and Duke. He was recommended by Duke and I haven’t looked back.

He treats with NDT but, doesn't know what he's doing and doesn't seem to be interested in learning the difference in treating with NDT compared to synthetic thyroid med. He doesn't do reverse T-3, important in determining whether or not you have a conversion problem. As long as the TSH is in range he doesn't care where your FT-3, FT-4 are at in the range. He's TSH obsessed, it's the only number he goes by. He does have a nice, pleasant personality though.

I have been a patient of Dr. Parker for over 10 years now. He is both very knowledgeable and professional. He obviously keeps up with the latest research in his field but is very practical in his approach to his patients focusing on their needs and realities. I have recommended him without hesitation to friends and family and everyone who has met him has nothing but positive feedback.

Office staff was rude about scheduling appointment and hung up on me, so PCP had to schedule for me. Dr. Was notified of family history of endocrine issues, but failed to order all necessary blood work for diagnosis. Never contacted me back with results and had to go to office to obtain. Had committed to referring for another diagnostic. Test, but backed out and stated another doctor should handle. Also, did not forward test results to PCP. Very disappointed in this doctor. Won't go back
