His listening, understanding, & open mindedness

I went in barely able to walk. Issue was quickly identified and skillfully treated. After a chiropractic adjustment results were nothing short of miraculous. All concerns were patiently addressed and resolved.

Back and neck adjustment

Dr Patten was incredibly compassionate to my cancer diagnosis. He listened earnestly and faithfully to my fatal pancreatic cancer diagnosis: recent history of chemo, radiation, and failed surgery. We discussed next steps with palliative care and hospice. But I'm seeking drug studies and experimental medications.Dr Patten is an excellent listener and gave more time than he had been given... demonstrating his empathy is more valuable than a clinic schedule.Thank you, Sir, for helping me!Anyone would be very lucky to have Dr. John Patten as their own.Adam Lauer, D.O.

Staff are great, but Docs methods are unique and worthy of praise. Many DO's are VERY different in methods and approach to use of amount of force when needed. Not this man,perfect knowledge of when and how much .many are to soft leaving partial results. As a DO I consider him one of the top 2 out of 12 I've had in my lifetime. St Joe's is lucky to have such talent in skills and patient skills are just as good. Always feel good seeing him and open to saying anything to him.

Listened to updates I had on new health concerns. Never felt rushed. Gave me OMT treatment based on his assessment of current health needs. Always feel better after treatment. Seeing this same provider for over 10 yrs. Have recommended him to many friends. The best!

Easy to get into, because we are established. Easy to talk to. Great listener. Explains thing so we can understand. Alot of wisdom and knowledge.

Dr. Patten is a great physician. He is kind and listens and knows his stuff. He tries to fix things more naturally instead of immediately referring you to a specialist or for surgery. He fixed my TMJ disorder with OMT when other docs wanted to do surgery that was only effective 20% of the time.

No,this guy is delusional,and dangerous.If you have an illness,he does not look for cause,he will gaslight you,and humiliate you.Zero understanding about health,and wants to force you to vaccinate.Look elswhere for guidance on recovering from illness,or anything.

Dr. Patten has been the doctor that gives and cares for me. I was with him for about 17 years. I had to move to S.C, and 4 years later i haven't been able to find a Doctor that was half the doctor he is. If u have him as a Dr. you are very lucky. Sharon Hartigan.

Not impressed. Appears uninspired. Seems to miss major things and has his mind elsewhere. Always hard to get appt and to get him to follow thru on his committments. Very disappointed.

I liked Dr. Patten, he was a match for OMT, or so I thought.I got bit by tick, he ignored serious symptoms, obvious rediculous symptoms, lyme.I got a serious injury to my back, ignored serious symptoms, and told me I made it up, and it is fine, disc problem, Not fine.He told me his door would always be open, apparently not.He told me his door would always be open, yet I have serious hardening of muscles, and could be helped greatly.He ignored bloodwork, very bad bloodwork from a hospital visit.
