Arrogant and Rude
Dr. Pemberton was rude to his nurse and to me. I'm 60 years old and never had a rude doctor before but he was extremely rude to me. I had perfect vision until a dental procedure and then was immediately blind in one eye. He told me it was impossible because if that was the case then he would be getting patients every day for that. I had researched it and it is a rare occurrence and I told him that but he wouldn't even look at me or respond to what I said. He acted like I was stupid and he had the attitude that if he's not seen it then it's not possible. He was very narrow minded about anything that's not common. He never even tried to listen or carry on a conversation with me about my concerns. I had an 8:15 appointment and he casually strolled off the elevator at 8:30 with his street clothes on and carrying his briefcase like our time wasn't important.

The BEST Occulo-Plastic Surgeon!!!
I’m forever grateful for Dr. Pemberton! He kept me from losing my eyesight after getting Delta (covid) pinkeye in my paralyzed eye following brain surgery. He’s monitored my eye health through my second brain surgery & placed a permanent eye weight when I ended up with permanent facial paralysis. He’s extremely caring & thorough with his patients. Sierra & Autumn are also wonderful. I was so afraid of going blind because my eye was in terrible condition due to the paralysis. I will never go anywhere but UAMS. He’s truly a terrific doctor. I’m a thankful long term patient.

The best and most knowledgeable ophthalmologist I have ever seen. Definitely worth a flight into the state to see him. He has given a new meaning to "epert in his field". Thank you.
