Dr. John Richards, MD

Dr. Richards performed a hernia repair surgery on me in June. The surgery went well and he followed up with me before I left the hospital. During follow up appointments since then he has demonstrated that he cares for his patients and is concerned with their recovery. All members of his staff are friendly and professional.

I have really never had a doctor call and check up along with explain with great detail surgery. Thanks for all your help and your office has been helpful too!

is great did emergency surgery on me, was in serious condition when I got to ER. he did the surgery with the robot and camera for a ruptured Hernia that blocked my bile and was in total kidney failure. He was very concerned, and eager to make sure I got what I needed, and was okay. I would recommend him to anyone that wants a great surgeon and a great Dr. that cares about his patients. I recently had gall bladder surgery, performed by Dr. Richards. The surgery went very well and Dr. Richards was excellent in his skills, as well as bed-side manner. I felt confident that he would take very good care of me. He checked on me many times more than other doctors have in my previous surgeries, and was very responsive. I highly recommend Dr. Richards for gallbladder or other similar surgeries for which he performs.

In early December, 2017, Dr. Richards performed an emergency laparoscopic gall bladder removal on me. I have had numerous surgeries in Boston, and as a "snowbird" I was somewhat skeptical about the medical care available in Florida. I will say, without any doubt, that the care and skill demonstrated by Dr. Richards was at least equal to that of my Boston surgeons, which is to say, superb. My recovery was almost painless, and was extraordinarily speedy. Thank you, Dr. Richards.

This is a very poorly run practice. I called to cancel an appointment 5 hours before the appointment because of an emergency with my dog and was told I would be charged a 50 dollar fee. I office manager was very unprofessional both on that day and when I called to speak with the doctor who owns the practice. She says he "refused" to take my call and I could only talk to her. Personally I wanted to clear it up with the owner of the practice. I won't be going back, and my dog died, so it was indee

He is great . He really cares . Well I will tell u. He treats me a pan care health center. They go by Ur income on what u pay. With some doctors that makes a difference on how much attention they pay to u or even the bed side manner. That's not the case with doctor Richards. I am always pleased with every part of my appointment . No complaints .
