Dr. John Salvaggio, MD

I did a Well Care visit first and then saw Dr. Salvaggio form my regular 6 month visit.I like him. He is very knowledgeable.

Dr Salvaggio is very kind, conscientious and gives a very thorough assessment. He listens and gives education without prejudice. I recommend him to everyone.

Just had my first visit with Dr. Salvaggio and it was an awesome experience. The staff were helpful and kind. Dr. Salvaggio didn’t rush the visit. He helped schedule me for pain management and he was very kind. Definitely recommend him as a doctor.

He has great bedside mannerism. He actually listens to you as a patient instead of rushing you along as you're not important enough.

Dr. Salvaggio is always friendly, willing to listen and then return offers options of concern. He has been my primary care physician since his arrival at the Medical Center clinic. I have referred several friends and family members to his care. They actually is not enough words to describe how important And caring he is He has a great broad spectrum knowledge and shares information from current Literature.

Dr. Salvaggio has been my primary care physician for many years. He has an excellent “bedside manner” and I have never been anxious seeing him. He has reviewed and guided me through several health changes as I aged (now 76) and coordinates with my various medical specialists. I saw Dr. Salvaggio for my semiannual checkup and he, as always, reviewed my lab work and asked “how I was feeling?” He listens … both to my responses to his questions and provides answers to my questions. Dr. Salvaggio proposed a change in treatment, sought my thoughts and helped me understand the pros and cons of the new treatment. He partners with me in making healthcare decisions, rather than directing them. Highly recommended!

My father in law has been a patient of Dr. Salvaggio's for many years. His last visit to him was June of 2022. Recently, he had an appointment for March of this year, but that appointment had to be missed due to my FILs hospitalization. We have him home now, and home health is working with him. He was showing signs of a uti and we could NOT get the Drs. office to authorize a urine test. Their reasoning was that he hadn't seen my FIL lately. Well, he couldn't see Dr. Salvaggio when he was supposed to because he was in the hospital. Today, he was taken to ER by ambulance. And guess what his diagnosis was... yes... He HAS a UTI! Dr. Salvaggio's office could have helped us, and refused to. I will not ever take another loved one to this doctor... nor would I recommend that you take yours! This is an example of what is wrong with our health care system.

I have been seeing him for many years and he is a great doctor. I love his bedside manner. He is friendly but professional.

Dr Salvaggio spends as much time as needed with his patients and goes out of his way to help with any issues — I had major pain after a full hip replacement and he checked my leg and found the tendon was very hard!! Gave me several recommendations and liked the idea of me having MFR therapy to loose up the tendon!! He definitely pays attention to any issue a patient brings up and provides great ways to resolve the issue!

Great patient experience. Dr Salvaggio is very professional yet still caring and attentive.

Dr was very rude and I was not able to get all my questions answered because he KICKED ME OUT OF HIS OFFICE. His staff called my husband on a Friday morning at work to let him know that he was to stop his medication immediately and that the dr said he was worried he would have a stroke and he needed to be seen. Husband calls back shortly and is told he can not be seen until Monday. Needless to say this was very upsetting and he had to leave work. This was so unprofessional. I Do not recommend.
