Met Dr. John Schor under stressful emergency conditions in VVMC emergency Room. He explained the pulmonary embolism I was experiencing, and described the procedure he wanted to perform to restore my ability to return to normal respiratory function. Completed the surgery/procedure in the Cath lab, followed up with report to spouse on successful procedure, and visited me the next morning (Saturday) in ICU recovery. Gave the best, most honest, summary of my condition, and prognosis of any health care provider I have ever experienced. I look forward to my follow up visit, with many questions. I recommend highly. Thank you, Phil Terbell Cottonwood, AZ 12/12/2020

I’ve been going to him for about 4 years now. Very thorough In anything he does. If it were not for him I’d of never quit smoking. He told me,” I’m here to work for you.” I thought about that and realized if he was going to work for me then I should work for myself as well.

Dr. Schor is one of the best Surgeons I've ever dealt with. His skill level is a 10. His personal skills are a 10 also. He truly cares about the patient, not only in the moment, but in the long term. Whether it is scheduled or an emergency, this is the Surgeon you would want! Who would imagine we have this level of talent in a surgeon in Cottonwood AZ? I'm not joking.....By far the Best!

Outstanding, probably the best vascular surgeon in AZ. Repaired my husband's aortic aneurysm. The surgery went perfectly. Took great time and care to answer all our questions. He was deeply caring and extraordinarily patient throughout the entire process (before, during and after surgery). Excellent bedside manner, great depth of surgical experience and knowledge of all the options and outcomes. Highly respected by the hospital staff and his peers too, many referred to him as the very best.
