Dr . Siliski performed emergency knee replacement after I returned in a wheelchair from South Africa. My knee was in bad shape but I recovered quickly and have no pain. Excellent!

I had a TKR with Dr. Siliski. The recovery went very well but I never got the ROM that is considered the minimum that should be achieved. My knee has never stopped hurting either, and it's been a few years. He was very personable but after the surgery I was relegated to an NP and she was no help. I think part of the problem may be the knee he is, or was then, using.

This was a disaster. After being booked by MGH for hip consultation I waited almost 4 months to see him. Then waited almost 2 hours in his office..He sent in a resident who looked at my Xray and MRI and was unable to make any significant comments..Then Dr.Siliski came in with a charming manner and added no additional information. My pain was between a 9-9 1/2 and he suggested I" I live with it at my age." Many people decide not to operate so it is all about your pain tolerance" It was shocking..

My experience wasn't what I expected. Consultation visit went well. Post-op I felt like I was no longer his patient. Two mistakes on which joint to be done. Prior to OR fellow said I was having knee done. I corrected him. I told dr at post-op visit. He degraded me. Have bursitis/leg length difference. He said make appt for I yr with NP. Still limp at 5 months. Mistakes w/chart & history. I asked to correct. He didn't answer Paperwork describes incision. Never looked at it. Not pleased

Dr Siliski replaced both my knees last summer one in June the other in Aug. The procedures went well and all is fine. The Dr. and the staff at MGH were great. Both knees were replaced on a Friday and I was home on Sunday. I can't say enough good things about the Dr.

I recommend Dr. Siliski as highly as any doctor I have ever seen, in any specialty. He is an accomplished surgeon - his THR work on my right hip was a work of art - and a compassionate and eminently human caregiver. He runs a wonderful practice, staffed with efficient, punctual, informative and friendly professionals. This is the man to see with hip or knee issues.
