Dr. John has been my podiatrist for almost five years and I think he is an excellent physician. I recommend him, definitely.

I think that Dr. Simonovich was very professional and was a good podiatrist to have work with diabetic feet. I had an issue with swelling and pain on my large toe, and Immediate Care was unhelpful with my issue. Dr. Simonvinch is my regular podiatrist, and he took one look and immediately diagnosed the issue, explained what to do to remedy the problem and helped me with other diabetic foot care. The doctor always takes time to make sure to explain exactly what the issue is and answer all my questions. I never leave without fully understanding what was wrong- not like Immediate Care- where I felt like I knew more than they did. Also, he speaks to me like a person, not a cog on an assembly line (like some Drs do nowadays).

Dr. Simonovich misread my x-rays, failed to see I had an extra bone in my foot and suggested unnecessary bunion surgery. A couple months later, I went to a much better doctor who correctly diagnosed my ailments and found the cause of (and treated) the nerve pain that had completely stumped Dr. Simonovich. Do not waste your time.

I saw Dr John S for my toe injury in early May 2019 at Northwestern Medicine, and he was one of the best doctors I have ever seen. I loved him. He was patient, takes his time explaining everything to you and is very attentive to you answering your questions and making you feel heard and comfortable as he examines you. He is very knowledgeable and relaxed. After talking with him, I found out one of my toes were dragging down making it difficult for me to workout and that's why I kept injuring that one toe. Dr John. S explained to me about 'hammer toes' and gave me an adjustable elastic cushion band from his supplies to wear to lift up that one toe 'hammer toe' so I can continue working out. Thank God for Drs like Dr John Simonovich. I can now workout without any issues and was treated with respect and honor as I visited him. We have to have more doctors like him

Mr. John. Simonovich, DPM, is such a fine Podiatrist and medical professional, thatI feel confident that he will be able to guide me through any issues I encounter as a diabetic. So far, every problem and foot issue- from a broken bone to a cracked nail, has been handled by John. Even though he is booked up 3 months in advance, you can leave questions for John on MyChart and he will answer them in a timely manner. Diabetic patients with problems can leave phone messages for appts for his asst.
