A surgery well worth it
Dr. Swan oversaw my consultation and performed my Advanced Surface Ablation vision corrective procedure. He was methodical in his work, explaining things well and putting me at ease throughout. The procedure was faster and more painless than expected, and recovery in the weeks since has been smooth and as predicted by Dr. Swan. Highly recommend!

Highly competent
Dr Swan is an excellent clinician and surgeon. However, you’re going to have to wait. An average office visit is over two hours. The office has a flow through problem.

Regret Cataract Surgery with Dr Swan
To rushed. I told him I wanted the same power in each eye but he ignored me. Now I can’t see well. Also had massive membrane problems afterwards. He told me nothing he could do

I highly recommend Dr Swan for Lasik eye surgery. I had lasik surgery about 15 years ago with Dr Swan, and recently my three kids (triplets) had lasik as well. Dr Swan and his entire staff have been wonderful to work with. They are on time, and caring when it comes to working with their patients. I have been very pleased with my results and now I am so happy that my children will enjoy their results for many many years!

Do not even try to get in, they won't let you see a Dr. They will only schedule an OD, even when that is what you need and ask for. They are too busy to service you.

Dr. Swan did my LASIK procedure on May 27th 2021 and I have to say, he and his staff were amazing. Prior to and during the procedure, they did a great job of talking me through everything and putting my worries to rest. LASIK is not exactly a pleasant procedure, but Dr. Swan and his staff made it as comfortable as I believe is possible. Dr. McFaden handled all of my pre-op and post-op appointments and is just as amazing as Dr. Swan. Dr. McFaden is extremely knowledgeable and answered every question I had (and even a few I hadn't thought of yet). I am writing this review 10 days after my procedure, and my results have been fantastic. I now have almost 20/15 vision. My only side effects now are slight dry eye and very mild haloes around lights at night, both of which are improving rapidly. I am trying to join the Navy to be a pilot and got LASIK in order to meet the vision requirements. Because of Dr. Swan, I am able to continue chasing this dream, and for that, I can't thank him enough.

I was referred to Dr Swan by the ER doctor at Jackson hospital after injuring my eye. I can't express how disappointed I am in this practice and Dr Swan and Shin. As the spouse of a MD and knowing my share of physicians I believe I have a little credibility in bedside manner ( professionalism) and Shin and Swan are lacking!

Absolutely, and without hesitation ! Dr. Swan performed cataract surgery with lens implantation on both of my eyes in the spring of 2018. I was apprehensive about getting this done but needed it badly. Dr. Swan was perfect for someone like me. He explained the whole process and why each step was needed. The actual procedures were quick and painless, as was the recovery time. I couldn't be more happy with the results of my seemingly two new eyes and awesome vision. I'll always remember him chuckling with I told him I felt like superman driving down the road reading mailbox numbers, etc.. He is a genuinely nice man and a Great Eye Doctor.

To be fair, it appears that the facility has the potential to be a good one in terms of accommodations and overall customer service, but my visit yesterday 8/25/20 was not impressive and it spills over from my initial visit. On my initial visit the wait time was too long and a piece of equipment needed during the intake process (before I saw the doctor) was broken. I only wonder how that impacted my overall assessment. The doctor I saw that day was personable however. During my visit yesterday (8/25/20) I waited 42 minutes before I was initially called to an exam room and when the doctor did enter the room he greeted me, but much to my amazement, he explained the issue at hand and the proposed procedure while barely making eye contact with me. He sat practically adjacent from me and was turned to the side and when he spoke he spoke opposite of my direction, that left me feeling really weird. His consultation did not feel authentic but mechanical and just very nonchalant.

Dr. Swan replaced the inner layer of both of my corneas, one slightly complicated by a cataract. The procedures were fast as was my recovery and my level of brightness in both eyes was greatly improved. I found Dr. Swan and his entire staff very professional and friendly. I could not imagine a better outcome. I highly recommend him for eye care exceeding that of normal opthalmic care. The DSEK procedure is rather amazing. I thank everyone at Montgomery Eye Physicians vastly improving my vision.

I was referred my by optometrist for lasik with the highest of compliments. MEP got me scheduled quickly for my consultation, preop appointment, and operation day. I was SO pleased with the friendliness of the staff and the physicians. The wait time on surgery day was longer than I anticipated, but it wasn’t crazy. I felt like I was treated like an important individual patient. And then I loved having a follow up call after my procedure. I would 100% recommend MEP to anyone.
