Dr. John Thompson, MD

I went to Dr. Thompson after visiting another Urologist in a different practice. What a difference there is between bedside manners and testing. Dr. Thompson and the staff did a thorough examination. He was very easy to talk with, did not seem rushed, and answered all my questions. Thank you!

Multiple visits to Dr Thompson…every time he was patient, understanding and incredibly informative. He provided options and solutions and then, to my amazement, he provided personal follow up via phone, something few doctors do today without using Tele Health. This was like the old days, when doctors reached out because they cared. I would without hesitation recommend Dr John Thompson of the Villages Health to anyone looking for a wonderful doctor.

Kidney cancer diagnosis.

Don't waste your time with this Dr .I had numerous tests here & left there in the same condition...

Staff and scheduling is horrible. Takes months to get testing , takes months to get follow up’s. Appointments get canceled after waiting for months. Everyone is lazy they disrespect their patients it’s a clown show.

Short wait, friendly staff. Dr. Thompson spent time, listened and explained clearly.

Dr. Thompson is top notch in my estimation. Just had successful laser prostate surgery and kidney stone removal.

Fantastic doctor. Kidneys failed due to prostate clamping down on the bladder. Once the bladder pressure was relieved, concern was the bladder may not come back after years of scarring and the fact it was the size of a watermelon when my kidneys failed. Dr. Thompson explained all possible issues and potential outcomes. Based on his approach, I have totally recovered and do not have any residual problems. He is a brilliant doctor and his experience was invaluable in my case. His staff is excellent and his PA is also right on the mark.

Dr Thompson has treated my bladder cancer for the past 5 years. He and his associate PA Magore have prevented the spread of this decease through concern and diagnosis. I highly recommend this duo and trust them. However; with that said I'm very disappointed in the new management and change in the prior surgical center sterile environment facility and nurses. I am considering a change if I deem the new environment changes.

Dr Thompson, is kind and very understanding, how ever the staff has had a big change, new people not very professional at all. Very confusing schedule all the time, most of the old staff is gone, because the new person bought the business. I feel very sorry for the staff that has left or transferred what a change. I was so impressed when I started going last year, but now we are looking around for a new dr. Don't ever think I will fine some one like Dr. Thompsom, or nurse Jacks.

Dr. Thompson is very kind and a very good doctor; however, his administrative organization is terrible. The recent changes to his practice are inconsiderate of his patients. Scheduling was often difficult but is now a nightmare.

Well Surgery for next week 9/13/16 is canceled as I pretty much told Urology Health Team in the Villages where they can stick it as today I called to find out what time my surgery was at Premier Surgical Center in Tavares and the lady who said she was nurse Vickie was extremely rude and arrogant and barked at me that Premier Surgical Center would call call me the night before with the time LOL as on my last one (surgery) last month was a major cluster you know what as Premier never called me and
