Had 2 great visits with Dr.Tin. He listened and gave me information that I needed and made sure that my condition was further evaluated.

Calm, patient, kind
Just had an appointment today and it went smoothly. I explained my various joint pains, and he asked questions and examined each one. Ty Doctor for listening to my concerns about chronic pain. I felt heard, respected and I was not rushed. Ty for your reassurance, referral to PT and professional opinion

Terrible patient care
I was a provider at Kaiser for 30 years. Dr Tin put up barriers regarding my request for a prescription for an adjustable bed before I even saw him. It is well-established in my medical record that I have multiple orthopedic issues which causes me pain. I was contacted by this office multiple times by his nurse & medical assistants to clarify what I wanted. I was told by a nurse that his department has written prescriptions for Medicare to pay for adjustable beds. After contacting Kaiser's vendor who provides DME, I decided I would pay for my own bed since the vendor indicated there was no show room to try out the mattresses to see if they were comfortable. I just wanted the doctor to evaluate me and write me a letter indicating that an adjustable bed could help my neck and back pain so I could write the cost of the bed off on my taxes. A medical assistant from his office indicated he could not write the letter even though he had not seen me yet. I cancelled my appointment. Terrible!

I have been a patient of Dr Tin for over 5 years. He is a terrible doctor. He insinuates that I am a drug addict when I have 10 bulging discs with disc disease and the neurologist says I need surgery. Dr Tin wants me off all pain medicine because he is scared of the opiate crack down. He just did a nerve study of my lower back with just needles and no electrical stimulation. I had one done through Workers Compensation and they did both there. His results were totally off! Wrong leg & wrong discs

I was scared when I saw the reviews here. I have had great experiences with Kaiser and horrible ones. Dr. Tin was a great experience, he followed up with me and I felt like he honestly cared. My husband was so amazed since he was sitting in the car that he suggested I write a review for Dr. Tin. I honestly feel like he has single handedly restored my faith in Kaiser.

I never saw the doctor. I waited in the room for over 45 minutes without a word from anyon. I just got up and left. Then Kaiser emails me my past visit appt like nothing happened. Rude!

I have been seeing Dr. Tin for a little over two years, his previous treatment was ok but at my last appointment he insinuated that I was selling my medication and not taking it, and he completly disregarded my statemets to him regarding the effectiveness of injection treatment I have had. I will be getting a new doctor soon, it was a terrible and pointless appointment. If you are looking for a respectful appointment look elsewhere.
