I've been seeing Dr. Veltman for 10 years. He is a dr that listens and really seems to care. Recently he has changed his office staff, they are beyond rude. It took them a month to fax a referral to a specialist and that was after several calls asking why it wasn't sent. They hang up on you and will not return your messages. Their office hours are only Monday - Wednesday. If you can get past the office staff with zero customer service skills I would recommend seeing Dr. Veltman. Just don't expect much help from the office.

I would very likely not be here were it not for Dr. Veltman and the staff at Panhandle Medicine. John listens to me when nobody else (doctor wise) seems to care. He hears me when nobody else can, helps me when nobody else is willing, and trusts my opinions, experience and judgement as I trust his. I would recommend Dr. Veltman, as a primary care physician, to any friend or family member, without hesitation.

Dr Veltman is a kind, caring physician. He listens well and comes up with the best plan of treatment. He is very thorough and does all testing before making a decision. He is very down to Earth and does not use medical jargon that is hard to understand. His staff are very kind and his nurses are awesome. I'm glad I found Dr Veltman. He really cares about his patients.
